Uttar Pradesh: Hindus unite after Aamir’s urine-infused juice incident; organise Panchayat to boycott ‘Pee Jihad’

In Uttar Pradesh, the Hindu community rallied together after juice vendor Aamir was accused of mixing urine with juice. In response, a panchayat was organised to advocate for a boycott of those involved in what they called 'pee and spit jihad.' This collective action emphasised the importance of unity among Hindus against such unacceptable behaviours

On September 22, Hindu organisations held a panchayat at the Shiv Mandir in Tila village, located in Ghaziabad’s Loni area. The gathering issued an appeal to economically and socially boycott individuals who contaminate food and beverages with spit and urine. In addition to Hindu saints and sages, thousands of people from hundreds of villages attended the panchayat.

Swami Dipankar Maharaj urged the panchayat that Hindu society must move beyond casteism and come together. “The time has come for the entire community to unite,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Sadhvi Prachi emphasised the need for the 36 sects of Hindu society to come together. She claimed that individuals from other communities use Hindu names to deceive Hindu sisters and daughters.
“If they are so fond of Hindu names, they should change their faith and become Hindus; we will welcome them,” she stated. During the event, Nand Kishore Gurjar, a BJP MLA from Loni, also addressed the panchayat members. The panchayat submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, local MLA, and ACP, demanding the arrest of the culprits and the passage of legislation aimed at population control. Additionally, they called for action against those involved in such activities under the National Security Act.

Earlier on September 13, the Loni Border police station arrested a 29-year-old juice salesman on charges of putting urine in juice, and his minor companion (15) was also detained. According to ACP Bhaskar Verma, the arrest was made following a public complaint. People reported that Aamir, the juice salesman, was serving fruit juice mixed with human urine to customers. Verma reported that when the police arrived and inspected Aamir’s juice cart, they found a plastic can filled with urine. He stated that Aamir was questioned about it, but he was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation.

According to the police, during interrogation, the accused juice vendor Aamir claimed he had no nearby place to urinate, so he collected it in a plastic bottle. The officers completely dismissed his explanation. Aamir was caught red-handed by Bajrang Dal activists on the evening of September 13 as he allegedly added urine to the juice.

According to Bhaskar Verma, after learning about the incident, people gathered and assaulted the accused, Aamir. In response, BJP MLA from Loni, Nand Kishore, released a video urging the public not to purchase food from vendors with such a sick mentality.
