ABVP is getting ready to start a big campaign called ‘Parisar Chalo’ in June when colleges start admissions. With a determined goal of enrolling 2.35 lakh new members in the upcoming academic session, ABVP wants to reignite campus vibrancy and student participation this time. Following the aftermath of Covid 19, ABVP’s state secretary, Abhinav Singh, emphasised the decline in campus attendance and engagement among students. In response, the ‘Parisar Chalo’ initiative has been devised to rekindle interest in campus life and bolster student participation. Through a meticulously crafted blend of sports competitions and diverse events, the campaign aims to reignite student enthusiasm and foster a cohesive sense of community.
Reflecting on past achievements, Singh highlighted ABVP’s nationwide membership of 50,65,264 in the 2023-24 session, with Jaipur’s group making a big contribution. The campaign ‘Parisar Chalo’ will happen in three parts, strategically targeting schools, vocational institutions, colleges, and universities. The objective is to enlist 2,34,600 new members from over 2,500 private and government schools statewide.
The campaign’s timeline is meticulously structured: the first phase focuses on school students from May 6-15, followed by vocational students from July 20-30, and culminating with college and university students from August 1-10. ABVP’s multifaceted approach underscores its commitment to fostering a dynamic student community and shaping future leaders. As the ‘Parisar Chalo’ campaign gains momentum, ABVP is leaving no stone unturned to create a compelling narrative around campus engagement and active student involvement.
