Kochi: The bomb scare message at Suresh was conveyed by police personnel while the super star-turned politician was participating in a promotion programme of his film “Garudan” at Kochi. He was celebrating the foundation day of Kerala state along with a group of transgender people. The programme took place at the headquarters of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) in Kochi. It was organised by Pratheeksha Foundation.

While the programme was in progress, police personnel came to the dias and shared the rumour about the bomb scare. It is reported that the organisers got an anonymous phone message that conveyed a bomb scare in the venue. Then, the superstar and others were moved out from the venue for a while to check the place. Soon after the police searched the venue thoroughly, and then the programme resumed again.

These days, these sorts of scares spread shock waves, especially after the Kalamasserry blasts of October 29. Suresh Gopi, even though he is a novice in politics, he has been a bold and dynamic follower of PM Modi and BJP. He had fought on BJP ticket from the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency in 2019. A few weeks ago, Kerala unit of BJP declared Suesh Gopi’s candidacy in the imminent Lok Sabha elections; hence news assumes larger significance.
