Ahmedabad: Cricket enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated showdown between India and Pakistan in the 12th match of the ICC World Cup 2023., which is scheduled to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both teams have already arrived in the city and have begun their preparations for the crucial match.

However, fans may need to brace themselves for the possibility of a rain-interrupted match. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light rain during the much-anticipated clash, which is set to unfold on October 14th between the arch-rivals, India and Pakistan.

Manorama Mohanty, Director of the Ahmedabad Weather Center, stated, “We expect dry weather over the next five days in Gujarat, but there is a possibility of light rain in Ahmedabad district on October 14th.” She further added, “Clouds will be present in the sky, and the next day, Ahmedabad and other northern districts may experience rainfall, including Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, and Aravalli.”

The World Cup spectacle will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, while the nine-day Navratri festival is set to kick off on October 15th. According to the latest weather updates shared by the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a chance of rainfall in the districts of North Gujarat and Ahmedabad on the 14th and 15th of October.

Team India has initiated its World Cup campaign on a high note, securing victories in their initial matches against Australia and Afghanistan. On the other hand, Pakistan’s national team triumphed against the Netherlands in their opening game, and their second clash saw Babar and Company emerge victorious against Sri Lanka.

The stage is set for a fierce encounter between two cricketing giants, but the threat of rain looms over the exciting match-up. Fans across the globe will be hoping for clear skies on the 14th of October as India and Pakistan take the field to compete for World Cup glory.
