Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagavat had a fruitful visit between October 8 to 10 to Kerala. After delivering the lecture, on October 7, as part of the Amruthsatham series, in Kesari Bhavan, Kozhikode, in connection with the centenary celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr Bhagavat went to Valliakkavu, Kollam. There Sarsanghchalak met Matha Amruthanandamayi Devi aka Amma at Vallikkavu Ashram, the head Math of Amruthanandamayi Mission. Mohanji presented the brochures of environment protection and seva (social service) activities Sangh has been carrying out to Amma. He expressed his regret for his inability to participate in Amma’s birthday celebrations on October 3. He sought Amma’s blessings after extending birthday greetings to her.

During the meeting, Amma explained to Sarsanghchalak the seva activities Math has been carrying out in Jammu Kashmir and North East. Both discussed the RSS activities in the spheres of Kudumbaprabodhanam (enlightenment for happy, noble family life), protection of environment and protection of cow.
