On July 31, a Muslim mob pelted stones on a peaceful religious procession organised by Hindus in the Nuh district of Haryana (a part of Mewat). The visuals from the site reveal how Hindus were forced to seek refuge at local temples and police stations as Islamists pelted stones, opened fire, set vehicles ablaze, looted shops, targeted police stations, and vandalised other public property. Within a day of this horrific attack, the rioters started expanding the region as they started attacking people and properties in neighbouring Gurugram.

Social media platforms are flooded with clips of violence from the day. However, the leftist-communist media outlets like Maktoob, Wire, etc. And the international media, including the BBC, Reuters, DW, and CBS,  are busy calling it a riot where Hindus torched a mosque, leading to riots.

We at Organiser accessed as many as 15 FIRs where the locals and police officials described the horrors of the day. Shockingly, the accused mentioned in these FIRs belong only to Islam.

An FIR (number–252/2023) was registered at the Nuh City police station of the Nuh district on August 1 by Inspector Pankaj Kumar. As a result of this stone pelting and firing, ASI Jagbeer Sector-40, Gurugram, sustained severe injuries. Kumar managed to rush his team to the hospital.

As per the complaint, they have all been booked under IPC sections 147 (rioting), 307 (attempt to murder), and sections of the Arms Act, among others mentioned in the picture below.

Apart from the videos and statements available on the internet, the above-mentioned documents make it very clear that the attack on VHP’s Shobha Yatra was pre-planned. There are clips available where multiple people are issuing threats against Hindu religious processions. Still, the mainstream and international media is trying to paint this as a clash between Hindus and Muslims after Hindus torched a Mosque in the Muslim-dominated area of Mewat.
