This week, Organiser reported a case from Rajasthan’s Bikaner where a minor Hindu girl eloped with a lesbian Muslim teacher. They shared a video swearing on Allah that, the teacher is innocent and they have done all of this out of love.

We are sharing details of this case as there is a significant rise in the cases of grooming these days. In a recent case from Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, a groomed minor committed suicide after her parents stopped her from talking to her stalker-turned-lover.

A 16-year-old Hindu girl committed suicide by drinking acid after her father stopped her from talking to Shoaib. He was stalking the victim for the past two years. Police booked Shoaib under charges of abetment to suicide.

The victim’s father Souran Singh, a resident of Kashiram Awas registered an FIR (number–513/2023) against Mohammad Shoaib on July 5 at the Vijay Nagar police station.

Singh told the police that Shoaib used to follow his daughter for the past few years on her way to school and back home. On July 5, he stopped his daughter from talking to him and in anger she drank acid, while taken to the hospital she died.

Copy of the FIR as accessed by Organiser

Shoaib has been arrested by the police and booked under IPC section 306 (abetment to suicide).

As per the media reports, Shoaib worked at a juice cart and sold sugarcane juice. Singh’s daughter studied in class 10. He used to follow Singh’s daughter every day and managed to convince her about talking to him. She was groomed and manipulated and when Singh tried to stop her from talking to Shoaib, she drank acid.

Shockingly, this is not the only case of grooming, there are many.

Most recently, a shocking case of grooming a minor Hindu girl to elopement came to light, from the Bikaner district of Rajasthan. Here, a lesbian teacher Nida Bahlim lured a 17-year-old girl into her fake love and made her leave the city. The duo left their house on June 30 saying they are going to the school. Nida was the minor’s teacher at the school.

It is noteworthy that the minor girl with Nida shared a video on social media platforms. In this video, she can be seen with Nida, who is wearing a Hijab, they both are emphasising in the clip that, Yogita left the home on her own. And that Nida has nothing to do with her elopement. They both are lesbians and love each other, they will live happily if left alone.

In May 2023, Organiser reported this case from Bihar’s Nawada district where a minor upon recovery refused to undergo medical tests so that the accused can be released fast. She eloped with one Musharraf Alam. A video of the duo was also circulated on social media where the minor can be seen wearing a Hijab.

Readers should not miss this case from Kasganj Uttar Pradesh, where a 15-year-old girl eloped with a painter Kallu Hasan in January 2022. The minor girl returned home only after her father promised that they will accept Kallu Hasan as their son-in-law. This girl also shared a video from Kallu’s house in a Burqa.

In the viral video, she can be seen saying she had known ‘Raju’ for seven years. “Raju loves me the most, even my mother doesn’t love me enough,” she said.

After she was rescued and Hasan was arrested, the police added IPC section 376 (rape) in the case and additionally booked him under sections 3 and 4 of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offence) Act. This information was shared by Anil Kumar, station house officer (SHO) of Amapur police station, with this correspondent.

“This man has brainwashed her completely. Do you know he is a married man with a child whereas my daughter is still in class 10?” her father Chandraprakash said. After her recovery, they sent her to a relative’s place where she jumped off the terrace. Before jumping, she left a note which said that she wanted to live with Raju, the father said.

“Tell me, should I give my 15-year-old girl to that man who has two children? Should I ignore that he is Muslim and will keep my daughter in a burqa? Who knew he will bring a third wife too?” her father asked this correspondent.

Notably, in April 2023, Organiser reported a similar case from the Begusarai district of Bihar. Here, a 16-year-old Hindu girl went missing on April 4, 2023, from the Begusarai district of Bihar. Almost after a week, the minor was recovered from the Darbhanga district. Begusarsi police arrested Mohammad Nishant for abducting the minor.
