Ahead of the first anniversary of the brutal murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, a production house named Jani Firefox Media Private Limited is all set to make a movie on the Hindu Tailor.

According to a report by ABP News, deceased Kanhaiya Lal’s elder son Yash has confirmed the development.

Yash confirmed that Amit Jani, the director of the media house spoke to him over the phone and expressed his desire to make a film on his father. He spoke with Kanhaiya Lal’s other family members also who were initially reluctant but later gave their permission to make the film.

The production house team has decided to visit Udaipur on June 28, 2023, which is also the first death anniversary of the Hindu tailor, to gather details about Kanhaiya Lal, his family, his brutal murder and all others who were involved in the heinous crime.

Reportedly, besides showing the life and the heinous murder of Kanhaiya Lal, the movie will also show the story of two youths of Rajsamand, who had displayed exemplary courage and helped the police nab the accused- Riyaz and Ghous Mohammad.

It is to be noted that, on June 28 last year, in a shocking incident, two Muslim men killed a Hindu tailor Kanhaiya Lal in the Maldas Street Area of Udaipur, Rajasthan. They killed the innocent tailor only because his son shared few posts on social media supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

In the viral video, the accused were seen talking to Kanhaiya Lal at his shop; soon, when the tailor approached him for his measurement, he attacked him with a knife and stabbed him to death.

Later in a video, the accused Mohammad Riyaz and Ghous Mohammad claimed responsibility for beheading Kanhaiya Lal. Further in the video Riyaz used abusive language against PM Modi and Former BJP Leader Nupur Sharma and chanted, “Gustakhe Nabi Ki Ek Hi Saza, Sir Tan Se Juda….”

Since Kanhaiya Lal’s son made the post on social media, he and his family were receiving death threats. Kanhaiyalal was so much afraid of these threats that he did not open his shop for six days.

He also complained to the police that he and his family members were getting death threats; still, the Udaipur police did not take it seriously. Instead of providing him protection, they asked him to stay low for some days.

Notably, BJP leader Nupur Sharma on a TV Debate last year gave a reference of Muhammad’s life, the founder of Islam, while quoting Quran and Hadith. After which dog whistle by Islamist Zubair, fellow Islamists started sending rape, death and beheading threats to Sharma.
