Renji Panicker, the famous Malayalam film scriptwriter and actor, says that if there was no Shivaji, there would not have been any Hindu proponents, including Guruji Golwalkar. Shivaji was the most precious gift for Bharat during the era of invasions. Communism was a philosophy which the entire world viewed with great hopes. But, it died its natural death in the lands where it took birth. He was addressing a programme after receiving the first instalment of the Sangh Darshanamala Book series in Kochi. He made it clear that the philosophies with closed doors and windows would land up in the same plight communism suffered. Books assume relevance when they are read and criticised. Whatever may be the greatness of a given philosophy, the powerful current of the time will sweep it to the oblivion of history. History has witnessed it several times. Communism has been driven away from the countries where it took birth and buried wherever it spread once upon a time. One cannot keep a philosophy intact by closing the doors. All philosophies should be studied and discussed. Then only it can get rid of the shackles of dogmas and march forward. Then it will survive beyond the boundaries of times.

Renji Panicker is a Malayalam actor, scriptwriter, director, film producer, and journalist. The dialogues he penned for several Malayalam films are very much popular among all movie lovers even after several decades after their release. Because he spices them with timely English terminologies and vocabulary. Some of the best roles of Mega Star Mammootty and Super Star Suresh Gopi are perpetual, even after two or three decades, due to the sharp English dialogues drafted by Renji Panicker for them.

Famous writer and children’s littérateur Payipra Radhakrishnan released the books. He is proud of getting a chance to release such a bunch of books which contain full of deep philosophies and ideologies. He shared his experience of participating in the programmes organised by Sangh-inspired organisations during Emergency days. He reminisced about his personal rapport with senior RSS Pracharak M A Krishnan aka M A Sir; hence he got opportunities to get familiarised with Sangh ideologies.

RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sampark Vibhag member V Ravikumar delivered the keynote address. He paid tributes to great personalities who took birth in Kerala; their goodwill reached across the horizons. He explained the spread of Sangh to the entire world and the incidents of the participation of the leaders and rulers of those countries in Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh programmes there. He described his own experiences. Ramayan, Mahabharat and Bhagavat Geeta are taught there. Hindu festivals are turning quite common in foreign countries. He pointed out that they speak out about the expansion of Hindu culture the world over.

RSS Kerala Pranth Sanghchalak Adv. K K Balaram and P Narayanan (former chief editor of Janmabhumi daily & eminent writer) addressed the gathering. Ka.Ba. Surendran, G Amrutharaj and K R Chandrasekharan (Managing Director, Chief Editor and Director of Kurukshetra Prakashan respectively) also spoke on the occasion.

Eight books containing philosophies and organisational methodologies of RSS are brought out as the first instalment of Sangha Darshana Mala. They are authored by Guruji Golwalkar, Dathopanth Thengadi, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, Balasaheb Deoras, Dr Mohan Bhagavat and Sunil Ambekkar. Kurukshetra Prakashan is the publisher of the series. It is the Sangh-inspired publishing house in Kerala.
