Maoist confirmed the death of women cadre

In another Maoist-related news, the Dakshin Sub Zonal Beuro of outlawed outfit CPI Maoists, in a press statement on January 13, confirmed the death of one of their women cadres in an encounter with the security forces on January 11.

In the statement, the proscribed group alleged the forces for conducting large-scale air strikes in the Pamed area of insurgency-hit Suka in Chhattisgarh.

“Our leader Hidmal is safe; He will be safe with the blessing of the people”, read the statement. The Maoist group further alleged that the Union and the State Government are hand in gloves against their movement, but they will fight till the end.

(Maoist killed in encounter)

Earlier, reports emerged that extensive damage had been done to the Maoists, and the infamous commander Madavi Hidma had been killed in action. Later Telangana police, in a press release, also confirmed the death of Hidma along with three other Maoist in action.

However, IG Bastar range Sundarraj P later denied the report of Hidma’s death in a press release. He also clarified that nothing sort of air strikes had been conducted against the Communist terrorists, and it is just part and parcel of their propaganda campaign against the forces.

Let us tell you that the Maoist have been long accusing the security forces of bombarding their hideouts in the Maoist hotbed near the trijunction of Bijapur, Sukma and Telangana, however contrary to their claims, the Bastar police have maintained that no significant use of air power (except the helicopters used for carrying jawan to the Forward Operating Bases) have been used against the Left Wing Extremists.
