NEW DELHI: The Bajrang Dal has denied reports or claims suggesting that its workers are planning to reach Delhi’s Jantar Mantar to participate in the ongoing protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
In a statement posted on X, the organisation said it has consistently opposed what it described as “anarchic” or chaotic demonstrations and clarified that it has no plan to send its workers to Jantar Mantar in connection with the ongoing agitation.

The statement comes amid protests by opposition parties and other groups against CEC Gyanesh Kumar and alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Opposition leaders and activists have held demonstrations in Delhi, including around Jantar Mantar, demanding accountability and Kumar’s resignation.
The Bajrang Dal said that claims about its workers arriving at Jantar Mantar were part of what it called “misleading malicious propaganda”. The organisation maintained that there was no such programme or plan from its side.
The organisation also said it opposed demonstrations being conducted against the Chief Election Commissioner and criticised what it described as a movement lacking public support.
The Bajrang Dal further claimed that the ongoing agitation would “die its natural death”, drawing a comparison with what it described as previous movements.
