New Delhi  : The Delhi Branch of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, celebrated the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade as ” Sadhna Diwas” last Sunday.

Shri Nikhil Yadav, Prant Yuva Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra, Uttar Prant informed that ” Mananeeya Eknathji served the nation by joining the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a full-time worker from a very young age. In the latter half of his life, he played an essential role in constructing Vivekananda Rock Memorial situated in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

To spread the message of Sanatan Dharma and to take the message of Swami Vivekananda to every household of this country, he founded Vivekananda Kendra: A spiritually oriented service mission in 1972. His literary works include “Rousing Call to the Hindu Nation (A compilation of the complete works of Swami Vivekananda’), the “Sadhana of Service,” the “Story of Vivekananda Rock Memorial,” and the “Kendra Unfolds ( mainly his letters).” So his anniversary is an important day for the Kendra volunteers who look up to him as their mentor.

The program was organized at the Chanakyapuri office of Vivekananda Kendra, in which Shri Eknathji’s teachings were discussed, followed by a meditation session. Volunteers from several parts of Delhi joined the program.
