The country is facing an upsurge in Criminal cases inspired by the Jihadi ideology; at least, the gruesomeness of the recent killings in the aftermath of Nupur Sharma’s remarks on Muhammad proves that.

The entire Hindu society has organised a Sankalp march today at Mandi House, Delhi, to show the faith of the people of India towards the Constitution.

At the Jantar Mantar, where a stage was set up for the Hindu dignitaries to address the huge crowd gathered to give a message that the Constitution of India will guide the people of Bharat not by the Sharia Law.

While addressing the Hindu society, Vishva Hindu Parishad’s International working president Shri Alok Kumar said, I want to warn all the individuals, organisations, with Islamist mindset, and countries like Qatar that Bharat will be governed by our Constitution & not by Sharia Law.

I have listened to the statement by Nupur Sharma 5-6 times. She has mentioned two incidents from Hazrat Mohammad’s life without any comments. There is no dispute over those incidents. Courts will have to decide what are the limits on our freedom of expression. They study our religious practices, raise objections on Bhagwan Ram, we don’t go with anger to slit the throat. Do we have a right to study Islam and the life of Nabi or not? While studying the same, if some questions arise in our mind, do we have a right to ask or not? Even after that can we say that the events, laws, life incidents, and history that occurred 1400 years ago do not match and go well with the present age? added Shri Alok Kumar.

While speaking about Nupur Sharma’s comments on Mohammad, Shri Alok Kumar said, Court has to decide whether Nupur has crossed the line or not. Until courts consider her to be guilty, she would be considered not guilty. No crowd can decide or punish anyone.

We are concerned with the situation in the country, especially in states like Rajasthan and West Bengal. We have released the contact numbers of Bajrang Dal activists who would stand with anyone against such threats, said Alok Kumar Ji on the recent violence against the Hindus.

Last month, Nupur Sharma made a remark against Muhammad during a television news debate on the Gyanvapi issue, which was dog whistled by propaganda website Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair. After which, in a series of events, Nupur Sharma received death threats, and the Hindus who supported her were also killed by the Jihadis.

Further, while speaking about Justice Surya Kant and Justice JB Pardiwala’s comment on Nupur Sharma, Shri Alok Kumar ji said, We are deeply disappointed with the observations made by the Supreme Court judges.

Citing the precedence of the Arnab Goswami case, Nupur through a petition requested the court to club all the cases in Delhi as she is facing death threats. Even people supporting her are being beheaded.

I am disappointed that the court did not accept her request. Instead made certain observations, which are not part of the court order. I dare to say in front of all of you that those judges through those observations have crossed the Lakshman Rekha, said Shri Alok Kumar.

Earlier, for her remarks against Mohammad, Nupur Sharma received harsh criticism from the Supreme Court on July 1. The court stated that Sharma’s “loose tongue” had “put the entire country on fire” and that she was “single-handedly accountable for what is occurring in the country.” The top court had rejected Nupur’s request to combine the FIRs that had been filed against her in several states as a result of the remark, concluding that the remarks was either made for cheap publicity, a political objective, or other malicious purposes.
