New Delhi: Congress lawmaker and a former party chief, Rahul Gandhi, met controversial British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in London.
BJP leader and Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju lashed out at the Congress leader for meeting the controversial leader in London.
“Again.. Rahul Gandhi meets UK MP and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn who is known for his hatred and dislike for India, advocates Kashmir’s secession. For how long and how much one can go on against one’s own country?,” tweeted Rijiju sharing a picture of Rahul Gandhi with Jeremy Corbyn.

The photograph also has Sam Pitroda, a close associate of the Rahul-Sonia family.
Pitroda, in the 2019 election campaign, had also made an infamous statement on the anti-Sikh mayhem of 1984, stating – “Hua toh hua”.
Corbyn was the Opposition leader in England from 2015 to 2020 and is known for his anti-India views.
“Jeremy is known for his visceral dislike for India, advocates Kashmir’s secession and is unequivocally anti-Hindu,” BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya tweeted.
“Gandhi has finally found his overseas collaborator, who denigrates India with the same impunity as him,” Malviya maintained.

On May 21, after Rahul Gandhi tried to draw the Indian foreign ministry and diplomats into row, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “Since someone is attacking India on foreign soil and lamenting the independence of our Foreign Service, ……Congress style functioning – diplomats were busy fixing colleges for the grandkids of Pandit Nehru. Congress should be ashamed.”
This was in reference to a Twitter message that claimed T N Kaul, who became foreign secretary later, had recommended Trinity College for Rajiv Gandhi.
