AAP always stood for Anarchy, now stands for Parochialism too

Though the Lt. Gov. of Delhi has overruled the Delhi governments order to treat only citizens of Delhi for COVID19, the recent decision of the AAP government proves that it does not beleive either in the constitution or integrity of the country.

Delhi govt AAP _1 &n

The recent decision of Aam Admi Party (AAP) Delhi State Government to ‘reserve’ the hospitals Delhi to the residents of Delhi has been critiqued from the two predictable positions of political propriety and constitutionality validity. Instead of political polemic limited to the context of this one decision, the opportunity offered nay opportunism displayed by AAP must enable us to inquire into the philosophical tenets of AAP and the political belief system that it stands invested into. Those who dismiss AAP as maverick misfit must seriously invest themselves into its real character – anarchy camouflaged as parochialism.

In a media interview in January 2014, Kejriwal unabashedly confessed that he is an anarchist. As a political philosophy, anarchism believes in abolition of all governmental structures including the police and military and nation should organise itself into a voluntary, cooperative entity without any form of compulsion. According to this belief system, taxation is also a form of coercion and all expenditure must be collected on voluntary basis and thus. by implication, the people must have no fiscal obligations towards the State. The amounts collected by the state must be returned to the people.

What is conceived in popular terms as freebees are actually the return-gift mechanism devised by anarchists to ensure that state does not have any fiscal reserve at its command to meet common requirements of the people. Anarchism, at least the one practiced by AAP variety, in realistic terms, is the most crude or vulgar form of individualism.

Embedded in this belief system, AAP has no concept of financial discipline. To see how this ideology works on ground, one needs to relate it to a series of fiscally irresponsible decisions of AAP Government over the years; latest instance being the Delhi Government, having expended all its monetary resources, went before the Union Government for an aid of Rs.5000 Crore to pay salaries to their employees. AAP has an ideological compulsion to ensure that exchequers at all levels get depleted and virtually nothing remains as collective reserve at any level.
The decadent form of individualism that refuses to believe in or recognise any governmental structure or representative democratic institutions, is at play behind this decision. AAP does not believe in the idea of Bharat.

They believe that Bharat, as nation, is a forced structure imposed on the society. The honest position of anarchists on Kashmir is the one that is continually espoused by Prashant Bhushan but Kejriwal and co avoid it for electoral compulsions. One may also recall that in June, 2018, AAP wholeheartedly and openly supported the “Referendum 2020” campaign initiated by hard-line Khalistan supporters. AAP MLA and leader of opposition in Punjab Legislative assembly Sukhpal Singh Khaira openly supported the separatists’ demands by saying justice system in India is so flawed that it has led to such emotions.

The variety of separatism followed by AAP is confusingly similar to the one practiced by urban Naxals. The distinction is subtle yet real. Naxals believe that state withers away in communism and for now, it must exist for they have to capture state power. But anarchist AAP does not believe in capture and wants decimate it. Both aid and complement each other’s efforts. In fact, following the Leninist strategy of entryism (working in mainstream parties till Communist is mainstreamed) Urban Naxals do work inside anarchist AAP. But then, the ideologically, and also in the matters of strategy and tactic, their objectives are diverse. This is the precise reason why Prashant Bhushan and his followers were chased away by anarchist majority in AAP.

AAP wants hit Bharat where it hurts most. The demand for complete statehood to Delhi is actually driven by their desire to decimate state power and not to ensure welfare and wellbeing of the Delhiites.

It is in this ideological setting that we must decipher AAP’s decision of ‘reserving’ hospitals. Having managed the fiscal and monetary healthcare of Delhi in the most irresponsible manner, AAP realises that it can no longer manage the administration of Delhi. When their inefficiencies stand thoroughly exposed, they want to unleash a divisive agenda. But more important than all this, at an ideological level, AAP wants to create a permanent rift between Delhi and rest of Bharat. This is a devise to weaken the unity and integrity of the nation. A weak nation is a fertile breeding ground for anarchism. Since anarchist AAP does not believe in the concept of Union or Nation, they do not believe that rest of Bharat have access to Delhi.

As Constitution stands for the unity and integrity of Bharat, AAP has no faith in it. That is why it neither respects Delhi’s identity as the capital of Bharat. Since AAP does not believe in the nation and its Constitution, it does not believe in Article 21 which guarantees without discrimination right to life to all citizens.
