Frustrated TMC mobilises Bangladeshi films actors, Ferdous Ahmed and Gazi Noor, to woo the Bangladeshi infiltrators in elections
Political analysts in West Bengal have been reflecting on conundrum for a while—how a foreign national, holding a business visa, would actively participate in the election campaign for a political party? Ferdous Ahmed, a Bangladeshi film actor, has been accused of his active participation in the TMC election campaign at Raiganj parliamentary constituency. TMC used the actor immensely for its election campaign in Indo-Bangladesh bordering blocks like Goalpokhar and Islampur. Nevertheless, the Indian Foreign Ministry has taken action against the mischief. Ferdous Ahmed has been blacklisted by the Union Ministry. His business visa has been cancelled. Instructions have been sent to the Foreign Regional Registration Office, Kolkata, to take prompt action against the actor.

On April 15, 2019, Ferdous appeared for last time in TMC campaign in the bordering districts of Raiganj. Next day, another Bangladeshi film actor, Gazi Noor participated in the TMC election rally at Kamarhati. Gazi Noor accompanied TMC leader Madan Mitra, who was granted interim bail by South 24 Parganas District Court at Alipore in Kolkata after 21 months jail for his alleged involvement in Saradha Ponzi scam. Kamarhati is infamous for hooliganism and atrocities against Hindus. In response to the questions from media, Gazi Noor disclosed that TMC tactfully used him for their campaign.

As Mamata Banerjee and his party openly support illegal infiltrators from Bangladesh, her commanders like Madan or Kanaialal earnestly check if all their earnings are channelised to EVM machines. To develop a block vote bank CPI(M) and Trinamool Congress have been pampering Bangladeshi Muslim immigration for the last few decades. There is a clear reflection of illegal infiltration in the demography change of all bordering districts of West Bengal. Left Front and TMC leaders are allegedly involved in providing voters identity card, ration card and other facilities to Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators. Jamat-e-Islami-Bangladesh (JMB) is also very active in the bordering districts. The political support is helping the jihadi activists to complete “Sleeper Cells” in every development block areas of Indo-Bangladesh border.

The entire country has observed Mamata spout venom against Narendra Modi government for its stand in National Register of Citizens (NRC) operation in Assam. TMC has also warned the union government of the implementation of NRC in the state. Citizenship Amendment Bill has been passed by the Lower House of Parliament on January 5, 2019. TMC and Left Front jointly opposed the Bill. The Bill advocates for the citizenship of the suppressed Hindu community of Bangladesh, while TMC demands the citizenship of the Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators. During Saradha chit fund investigation, an active and powerful racket had been identified between the Chit fund agencies, accused political leaders and Bangladeshi jihadi elements. Funds raised by the Chit fund companies had been finally used by JMB terrorists to organised crimes in Bangladesh.
The rules of the game that the TMC is now playing in West Bengal were actually set by the Left Front during its tenure when they used all the tricks to use the infiltrators as vote bankShakil Ahmed, prime accused in 2014 Bardhaman Khagragarh blast case, was a Bangladeshi national. Shakil himself died in the blast. Shakil Ahmed managed to get an Indian voter Identity Card from Karimgang, Nadia, during CPI(M) regime. He organised a sleeper cell at Bardhaman and started a factory of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Bardhaman. Incidentally, the explosive factory was above a temporary TMC party office.

Kaliachak is a small town in Malda District, only 10 km from Indo-Bangladesh border. As per media reports, the place had been ruled by Opium mafias across the border. Acres of land had been used to grow poppy seed for opium production. A strong anti-Hindu sentiment in the locality, reportedly propagated by all three political parties—ruling Trinamool Congress, Congress and CPI(M)–turned into massive violence in which the local Muslims turned hostile towards the Police. On January 3, 2016, when a part of a protest rally attended by thousands of Muslims turned violent and Kaliachak Police Station was set ablaze. Criminals from both sides of the border were involved in destroying the crime reports of Kaliachak police station.

As TMC leadership accounts the voting strength of illegal Bangladeshi Muslim immigrants in some Lok Sabha constituencies and seeks support from the beneficiaries (read Labharthi), the party is clearly looking for their role models in their own political platform. The appearance of Ferdous Ahmed and Gazi Noor on TMC political platform is a part of the game. The rule of the game was set by Left Front in their tenure; they left no stone unturned to make vote bank with illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators. In 1999, Left Front leader Rabin Mukherjee snatched Bangladeshi immigrants from Maharashtra police at Uluberia Railway Station. TMC learned the game from their predecessors and has become a skilled player.

Meanwhile on April 18, body of a Bharatiya Janata Party worker was found hanging from a tree in mysterious circumstances in Purulia district. The diseased youth was identified as Shishupal Sahish, a resident of Senabana village. He was 22. Local BJP leaders alleged that it is clear case of murder committed by TMC goons. Shishupal’s father Yadav Sahish is a Gram Panchayat member. He had contested in the recently held Panchayat elections and won on BJP ticket. Earlier, a VHP leader and two BJP workers Trilochan Mahto and Dulal Kumar were also killed in the state in similar conditions.
