The Rattled Liberals

The demonisation and vilification of Hindus has long been one of the favourite projects of the Congress party and the ‘liberal’ ecosystem comprising of commentators and ‘journalists’ who have shied away from questioning Congress’ maliciousness. Sadhvi Pragya, the victim of Congress’ malicious ploy to paint Hindus as terrorists in order to appease minorities has been shattered many times. Sadhvi Pragya, who was falsely implicated in proving ‘Hindu Terror’, has joined BJP and is set to contest elections from Bhopal against Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, one of the Congress’ greatest foot soldiers in painting Hindus as terrorists.

 

 

 

“I was brutally beaten by male officers with a broad expeller belt, day and night for 24 days in custody. My arms and legs were swollen, which were then immersed in salty warm water, and the beatings resumed,” Sadhvi Pragya had said on Rajat Sharma’s ‘Aap Ki Adalat’.

 

“In custody, the officers used to hurl filthy abuses at me and forced me to hear objectionable CDs. They wanted to forcibly extract a confession from me in order to implicate senior RSS leaders,” Sadhvi Pragya said. The Sadhvi also mentioned that she was tortured through sleep deprivation as well which caused her to experience immense psychological trauma as a consequence.

 

 

 

The arrest of Sadhvi Pragya among others was used by Congress party to fan the theory of “Hindu Terrorism”. Many have gone on to assert, including a senior official in the erstwhile UPA administration, that the entire charade was an elaborate ploy organised by senior members of the UPA administration for political gains.

 

Sadhvi Pragya’s lawyer who fought for her bail had stated categorically in 2017 that Sadhvi Pragya should have got bail in the first 30 minutes, but it took 8 years of imprisonment for her to be free.

 

With Sadhvi Pragya joining BJP and the party fielding her from Bhopal against Congress’ candidate Digvijaya Singh, the meltdown of the liberal ecosystem is a sight to behold.

 

Swara Bhaskar who was recently seen screaming ‘Lal Salaam’ and supporting Kanhaiya Kumar who had screamed “Bharat tere tukde honge, Inshallah Inshallah’, called Sadhvi Pragya a “potential terrorist”.

 

 

Swara Bhasker (@ReallySwara) tweeted: “Latest addition to our scintillating list of MP contestants: a potential terrorist.. Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya.. BJP absolutely naked in its agenda of hate and divisiveness.”

 

Swara Bhaskar was joined by Prashant Bhushan who was recently caught violating Bar Council rules and has been rapped by the Supreme Court multiple times. Prashant Bhushan (@pbhushan1) tweeted: “Now the BJP will field terrorists as their candidates? Now you understand what Modi meant by saying ‘hum ghar mein ghus kar maarte Hain’!”

A journalist from ‘Scroll’ remarked: ‘Terrible”. Nandini Ramnath (@nandiniramnath) shared: “Terrible: Malegaon blasts accused Pragya Singh Thakur joins BJP, likely to contest from Bhopal.”

 

Bigot Rana Ayyub who regularly whitewashes Islamists also furthered the Congress narrative of falsely demonising Sadhvi Pragya and Hindus joined by a “journalist” from Economic Times. Rana Ayyub (@RanaAyyub) remarked: “Let this sink in. She is the prime accused in the 2006/2008 Malegaon blasts that killed close to a hundred muslims.”

Rashmi Rajput (@RashmiRajput123) tweted: “Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur an accused in the 2006 Malegaon blast, was granted bail in 2017 after NIA gave her a clean chit.”

 

Swati Chaturvedi, who can best be described as an abusive troll who has been co-opted into journalism yet again by the Congress ecosystem that loves obedient foot soldiers, had a meltdown and went on a rant. Swati (@bainjal) remarked: “Remember this when you vote don’t fool yourself you are voting for the 2002 riots, lynchings & Pragya.”

 

In another tweet Swati Chaturvedi said: “And, even the BJP of an earlier era would have thought twice. This is the thuggish & goon BJP for whom the 2002 Gujarat riots are the only highlight on the CV.” She again tweets: “Wipe away the think veneer of #Vikas & the 2002 Gujarat riots & Pragya are what the Modi Bjp offers.”

 

In another tweet Swati Chaturvedi said: “You want to know what is the difference between BJP & other parties. No other party would be as toxic as to field a terror accused.”

 

Congress loyalist and unquestioning troll Joy Das used this to declare Pakistan as being better than India and compare Sadhvi Pragya to Hafiz Saeed. Joy (@Joydas) said: “In Pakistan, Terrorist Hafiz Saeed’s Party had fielded 265 Candidates. People of Pakistan ensured everyone Lost. In India, Terror accused Pragya Thakur will contest election. And probably Win.”

 

Sagarika Ghose and Rajdeep Sardesai, the star couple of India’s ‘secular liberal’ media brigade also expressed their outrage Sadhvi Pragya getting a BJP ticket.

 

Sagarika Ghose (@sagarikaghose) said: “The choice of candidate reveals the current mentality of today’s @BJP4India clearly playing very hard Hindutva in #GeneralElections2019. Sadhvi Pragya cleared of MCOCA but still has UAPA charges against her.”

 

Rajdeep (@sardesairajdeep) tweeted: “Fact: Charges have been framed against Sadhvi Pragya in Malegaon 2008 blast case , trial is on and she is yet to be acquitted by the court.. And she is the BJP candidate from the great city of Bhopal: what does one say but welcome to a ‘new’ India.”

 

Javed Akhtar was also unable to control his emotions. He (@Javedakhtarjadu) remarked: “The choice of the BJP for The candidate in Bhopal is indeed immpeccable. Sadhvi Pragya is the perfect prosonification of Sangh Parivar’s thoughts and actions. Wah ! Wah !! Wah !!!”

 

JNU’s freelance protestor and freshly turned full-time politician Shehla Rashid too, registered her objections. Shehla (@Shehla_Rashid) said: “BJP takes the fight against terror to another level!”

 

Interestingly, Sadhvi Pragya has been pitted against Congress’ Digvijaya Singh. Digvijaya Singh is the very politician who proudly launched a book ‘26/11–RSS ki Saazish’ and has often furthered the Hindu terror narrative that has been summarily debunked many times. The Congress party imprisoned Sadhvi, tortured her, beat her, vilified her and used her to brand Hindus are terrorists. It was in this time period that Congress also came up with the Communal Violence Bill that would brand every Hindu as a terrorist and every Muslim as the victim should communal clashes break out.

 

One certainly wonders why the ones who call themselves “journalists” never questioned Congress of every piece of evidence that proves Congress created the Hindu terror bogey simply to demonise Hindus. They never even raised a finger when RVS Mani, former Under Secretary in the Minister of Home Affairs, revealed how Congress created the Hindu terror bogey maliciously. They even kept silent when he revealed that Kamal Nath told him while forcing him to concoct Hindu terror, that people are even willing to drink Rahul Gandhi’s urine, thus, he should have no problem in following orders and demonising Hindus.

 

After all of this, the ‘liberal’ ecosystem still chooses to shut its eyes to the truth and further the narrative that has laden with lies and malice. The neutrality that these elements have flaunted as a virtue has long been proven to be a hoax. Most of the people outraging today don’t care about facts. The partisan hacks care about nurturing the narrative that Congress tried so hard to create and perhaps, their pain today can only mean that the narrative is falling apart, word by word.
