Dr MGS Narayanan
The Communist rule in Kerala is on its last legs, will end very soon. Pinarayi Vijayan is the last Communist Chief Minister in the state, said eminent historian and former chairman of Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) Dr MGS Narayanan.
Flaying the CPM government’s arrogance and its onslaught on the Sabarimala devotees, Dr MGS Narayanan said that the government must respect the sentiments of the faithful and withdraw its decision to send women to Sabarimala. Dr Narayanan also said that state government should act diligently on such sensitive issues.
Against the backdrop of the brutal police crackdown, several cultural luminaries and intellectuals have come out in protest against the state government and the CPM leadership.
