Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shiakshik Mahasangh organised a two-day workshop for its workers looking after the media coordination work in different parts of the country. The workshop was organised in New Delhi from May 5 to 6. Speaking on the occasion senior journalist Shri Ram Bahadur Rai said the foreign investment in the media has changed the character of the media and it has now become a profession and does not remain a mission. He stressed the need that the workers looking after the media relation work must send their news to all the newspapers regularly disregarding whether it will be published or not. Shri Sunil Pandey, senior journalist, also spoke on the occasion. Former Rajya Sabha MP Dr Mahesh Sharma said media should be used as a tool to disseminate information about the organisation and not for self-publicity. (FOC)
