The Bharatvanshi Gaurav Samman was established in the year 2005 and the first Samman was presented to Shri Ranjit Ramnarayan of South Africa by Prime Minister of Mauritius Shri Navin Ramghulam. The second Samman was presented to Shri Satnarayan Maharaj of Trinidad and Tobaco. The third Samman was presented to Dr Abraham Thomas of the US while the fourth was presented to noted organisation of the Mauritius Human Service Trust. The fifth Samman was presented to Shri Shivnathrai Bajaj of Thailand.
