After a long gap of 17 years the BJP activists hoisted the Indian national flag, tricolour, at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on January 26. Earlier on January 26, 1991 the then BJP president Dr Murli Manohar Joshi had hoisted the tricolour at this place. It is to be noted that the terrorists used to hoist the Pakistani flag at the place after the beginning of terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir in 1989. In the picture Shri R.P.
