As in the previous years, the West Bengal unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) organised a camp for the Gangasagar pilgrims. The camp, organised at Ontramghat in Kolkata, was inaugurated on January 9 by Swami Tribhubanpuri Maharaj of Rameshwar Mahadev Mandir, Kolkata. Shri Ramendralal Banerjee, RSS Prant Karyavah of Dakshinbanga Prant, was the chief guest. Shri Jagadish Prasad Goel presided over the function.
