Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh: The Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak of RSS and its inspired organisations will be held from August 19 to 21 in Gudilova, Visakhapatnam district, with senior office-bearers of 32 organisations set to participate and deliberate on social, national and policy-related issues.
Addressing a press conference, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said that the meeting will begin at 9 AM on August 19 and conclude on the evening of August 21. National presidents, national general secretaries, Akhil Bharatiya organisation secretaries and selected office-bearers of various organisations from across the country will participate. RSS Sarsangchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale will be present, along with all Sah Sarkaryavahs, Akhil Bharatiya Karyavibhag Pramukhs and other senior office-bearers of the Sangh.
He said the participating organisations will share information about their respective activities and experiences. They will also present their views and suggestions on various important issues and discuss the issues emerging in society and their impact on public life.
Sunil Ambekar said these organisations have been continuously active in social life for several years. Working in their respective fields, they undertake activities for public welfare, work towards resolving people’s problems and, when required, take up movements. They also engage in dialogue on policy-related issues with society, among themselves and, when necessary, with governments.
He said the meeting will also discuss the current circumstances in the country and the views of participating organisations on them. The meeting is not an executive or decision-making meeting, but a platform for sharing information and strengthening mutual coordination and cooperation among the organisations.
Among the important issues expected to be discussed are demographic changes in the country and the concerns arising from them. The issue of increasing drug-related concerns among youth and their adverse impact will also be discussed, along with the efforts being made by different organisations and possible measures for the future.
He said the meeting will also discuss Panch Parivartan, including social harmony, environmental awareness, family awareness, awakening the sense of Swa and fulfilling civic duties. The role of various organisations in taking these efforts forward after the centenary year will also be discussed.
He said the Bharatiya concept of development will also be discussed. The focus will be on understanding development in its various dimensions rather than viewing it only from an economic perspective. The participating organisations will discuss these issues and their respective roles in taking them forward.
Senior office-bearers from various organisations will participate in the meeting, including representatives of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and Rashtra Sevika Samiti, among others. A total of 253 representatives from various organisations, including approximately 49 women, are expected to participate. Including senior RSS office-bearers, the total expected participation is 327 volunteers.
Sunil Ambekar also shared figures regarding the increasing interest among people in joining the Sangh during its centenary year. Through the online Join RSS process, people can express their desire to join the organisation.
Through the ‘Join RSS’ online platform, 55,423 people registered between January and July 2025, while 1,23,287 people expressed interest in associating with the RSS during the corresponding period in 2026.
Similarly, 9,718 people registered in July 2025, compared with 24,086 in July 2026, he informed.
