NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for four contractual posts under its Communications and Outreach function to strengthen the communication, media monitoring, content creation and research related to India’s major examinations like JEE (Main), NEET (UG), CUET, UGC-NET and other flagship exams. The vacancies include Video Editor cum Graphic Designer, English Content Writer, Data Analyst cum Media Monitoring Executive and Researcher at the NTA headquarters in New Delhi. Candidates with at least three years of relevant experience can apply through email. The last date to apply is August 21, 2026. The selected candidates will initially be engaged for two years.

There is one vacancy each for the four posts. The appointments will initially be made for two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organisational requirements.

NTA Data Analyst Recruitment 2026

The Data Analyst cum Media Monitoring Executive will be responsible for tracking media coverage and analysing data related to NTA’s major examination cycles. The role involves monitoring social media, digital platforms, print and broadcast media, analysing sentiment, reach and engagement, and preparing dashboards and reports. The candidate will also track misinformation, viral posts and emerging issues and provide timely inputs to NTA leadership.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should have a Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Policy, Statistics, Data or a related field. Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor’s degree may also be considered. At least three years of combined experience in data analytics, media monitoring and communications insights is required. Knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Data Studio and social listening tools such as Meltwater, Brandwatch, Sprinklr or Talkwalker is preferred.

NTA English Content Writer Vacancy 2026

The English Content Writer will prepare communication material including press releases, candidate advisories, FAQs, social media content, video scripts, web content, newsletters and leadership communication. The candidate will also be required to simplify complex examination and policy-related information into clear and accurate language.

Applicants should have at least three years of experience in writing or editing, particularly in communications, journalism, PR or content. A degree in English, Journalism or Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification is also required. Knowledge of Hindi and SEO writing will be an added advantage for the candidates.

NTA Video Editor cum Graphic Designer Recruitment 2026

The Video Editor cum Graphic Designer will handle NTA’s video and graphic communication requirements, including Reels, Shorts, advisories, explainers, campaign videos, infographics, social media posts and banners. Candidates should have at least three years of combined experience in video editing and graphic design along with a strong portfolio or showreel.

Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is expected. Experience in motion graphics, colour grading and sound design will also be useful.

NTA Researcher Vacancy 2026

The Researcher will support NTA’s communication work through desk research, fact-checking, policy tracking and data-based research. The role will require candidates to prepare fact sheets, briefing notes, research reports and Q&A documents. The researcher will also track developments related to education, examinations, technology and public communication.

Candidates should have at least three years of research experience in areas such as policy, think tanks, strategy consulting, media research, academia or communications research. A degree or Master’s qualification in public policy, social sciences, economics, journalism or a related field is required.

NTA Recruitment 2026: Salary and Contract

All four positions are contractual and will initially be offered for two years, with the possibility of renewal. The remuneration will be based on industry standards and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
