Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the UPSSSC Exam Calendar 2026, announcing the schedule for various recruitment examinations and interviews to be held between August and December 2026. According to the Commission, the main recruitment examinations will begin on August 9 and continue until December 20, while interviews for several posts will also be conducted during this period. With the help of this calendar, candidates will be able to prepare well in advance. Check complete details related to the exams below.
As per the UPSSSC Exam Calendar 2026, the X-Ray Technician Main Examination, Dental Hygienist Main Examination, and Assistant Store Keeper Main Examination will be conducted in November. In the following month, the Account Examiner and Assistant Auditor, Building Superintendent, and Assistant Building Superintendent examinations will also be scheduled. The Junior Cane Inspector and Village Development Officer (VDO) Main Examination is also expected to be held in December based on PET 2023 scores.

Instructor Interviews from August to October
Along with written examinations, UPSSSC will conduct interviews for several Instructor posts between August and October. These include Instructor Fitter, Instructor Draftsman (Mechanical), Instructor Draftsman (Civil), and Instructor Electrician Cum Maintenance. Interviews are also scheduled for Machine Shop, Plant Commander/Block Organiser, and Boiler Operator Instructor posts.
As per the Commission, releasing the calendar in advance will make the recruitment process more organised and transparent. This will also give candidates sufficient time to prepare. The Uttar Pradesh government stated that timely recruitment remains a priority to provide employment opportunities to eligible youth without unnecessary delays. The Commission has also clarified that while the proposed dates are tentative, any changes will be communicated through official notifications if required.
The Uttar Pradesh Government said the UPSSSC recruitment drive aims to help eligible candidates get government jobs without unnecessary delays. It added that timely recruitment will fill vacant posts across departments and create more employment opportunities for the youth of Uttar Pradesh.
