Prabodh Jnana Kendra successfully concluded its National Research Conference-cum-Camp 2026, held on 25–26 July 2026 at Sharda University, Greater Noida. The conference brought together research interns, scholars, professors, and academicians associated with Prabodh Jnana Kendra from 18 states across India, providing a vibrant platform for research presentations, intellectual dialogue, and interdisciplinary engagement rooted in the broader theme of Swa-Hindutva-Bharat.
Bringing together more than 90 participants from across the country, the conference served as a vibrant platform for intellectual dialogue, research presentations, academic networking, and meaningful exchange of ideas.
The inaugural ceremony featured the traditional Saraswati Vandana and ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including J. Nandakumar, Pro Chancellor Prof. Yatendra Kumar Gupta, and other eminent guests, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and intellectual enlightenment. The opening keynote was delivered by J Nandakumar, National Convenor, Prajna Pravah, on “Hindutva and Its Dimensions.” Through a nuanced exploration of its philosophical, cultural, and civilizational foundations, he encouraged participants to engage with the subject through rigorous academic inquiry while appreciating its relevance in contemporary intellectual discourse.
The second academic session featured Prof. M. S. Chaitra, who delivered a lecture on “Research Methodology from the Perspective of Bharatiya Jnana Parampara.” Emphasising traditional epistemologies and the relevance of Indian Knowledge Traditions in contemporary research, he inspired young scholars to adopt research methodologies that integrate traditional wisdom with modern academic frameworks.
A thought-provoking lecture by Shri Ashutosh Bhatnagar on “Impact of Research in Policy Making” followed, highlighting the vital role of evidence-based research in governance, public policy, and national development. The session encouraged participants to view research as an instrument for addressing societal challenges and contributing meaningfully to policymaking.
A major highlight of the conference was the presentation of research undertaken during the six-month Winter Research Internship. Across six parallel academic sessions, 37 research presentations were delivered, including 7 presented virtually, covering a wide range of themes such as Hindutva, Bharat, education, history, philosophy, public policy, culture, and other contemporary issues of national significance. The presentations reflected months of sustained scholarly engagement, analytical thinking, and mentorship, while offering participants an opportunity for academic feedback and interdisciplinary dialogue.
The evening featured an engaging discussion on The Soul of a Nation: Understanding Hindu Nationalism, authored by Arun Anand, noted Columnist and Author. Moderated by Rahul Tiwari, CEO, Prabodh Jnana Kendra, the session encouraged participants to critically examine themes of nationalism, civilizational identity, and contemporary socio-political.
The second day began with Yoga and Meditation led by Shagun Sharma, reaffirming the conference’s commitment to holistic development alongside academic excellence. This was followed by Samvad, an interactive dialogue session that promoted open discussions and collaborative learning among participants from different academic backgrounds.
The academic proceedings continued with a lecture on “Understanding Bharat” by Prof. Sanjeev Kumar, who presented a comprehensive perspective on Bharat’s civilizational continuity, cultural heritage, and intellectual traditions.
An interactive reflection session was subsequently led by Chandrakant Sharma, National Co-Convenor, Prajna Pravah, where interns and scholars shared their experiences, research learnings, and suggestions from the internship and conference. The dialogue reinforced the importance of collaborative scholarship, mentorship, and sustained academic engagement in building a vibrant research culture.
Distinguished academicians and dignitaries, including Dr. Vivek Kumar Gupta, Registrar, Sharda University, who joined participants in celebrating the successful culmination of the Nationwide Research Conference-cum-Camp 2026 and the six-month Winter Research Internship Programme, graced the Valedictory Session. Addressing the gathering, Shri Rahul Tiwari, CEO, Prabodh Jnana Kendra, presented a brief overview of the conference, highlighting its objectives, major academic engagements, research presentations, and the enthusiastic participation of research interns, scholars, and professors from 18 states across India. He also acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the speakers, mentors, organising team, and participants in making the conference a meaningful academic success.
Mukul Kanitkar, National Organizing Secretary, Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal delivered the keynote valedictory address, on the theme “Swa Bodh.” Reflecting on the role of self-awareness in scholarship, he urged young researchers to cultivate intellectual integrity, civilizational consciousness, and a spirit of national service through research. Emphasising that meaningful scholarship must be rooted in both academic excellence and social responsibility; he inspired participants to carry forward the values of critical inquiry, lifelong learning, and nation building. His address provided a fitting and thought-provoking conclusion to the conference.
The conference concluded with the distribution of certificates to interns in recognition of successful completion of the six-month Winter Research Internship Programme. The successful conclusion of the Research Conference-cum-Camp 2026 marks not only the culmination of the Winter Research Internship but also the beginning of a continuing journey of research, collaboration, and intellectual engagement for the participating scholars.
