Bihar Government’s Teacher Recruitment Plan
Apart from TRE-4, the Bihar government has also announced a long-term recruitment strategy to strengthen the state’s education system. Under this plan, around one lakh teachers will be recruited over the next five years (2026-2030). The Bihar government plans to appoint approximately 20,000 teachers every year to bridge the gap / shortage of teachers in government schools across Bihar. This will improve the student-teacher ratio and enhance the quality of education in government institutions.
