Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Shankaracharya Vijayendra Saraswati Ji emphasised that the Panch Parivartan mission, initiated during the RSS Shatabdi varsh, is a necessity of the times and must be embraced and fulfilled by society through dedicated action. He was delivering the keynote address at the RSS Sanghik held at the Parvathi Kalyana Mandapam in Chandranagar.

Highlighting the role of modern technology, the Shankaracharya Ji stated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) should be harnessed for the greater good of society. He urged that the values of simplicity, sincerity, and speed associated with technological progress should be utilized in ways that are beneficial to the community.

Addressing the gathering, he described Kerala as a “sacred land of Tantra” and urged citizens not to allow this land to be exploited by the conspiracies of others. He further delineated the four pillars of duty – studying Dharma, understanding its meaning, practicing it, and propagating it. He observed that, in the present day, there is an excessive emphasis on propagation compared to the actual practice and understanding of these principles.

Stressing the importance of cultural heritage, he stated that it is the duty of every individual to protect and nurture the Sanskrit language and Bharatiya culture. On the significance of devotion and patriotism, the Shankaracharya Ji remarked that while both God and the Nation are paramount, there are specific circumstances where the protection and welfare of the nation must be given priority.

The event was attended by prominent RSS functionaries. The Kanchi Shankaracharya Ji was received with full traditional honors (Poornakumbham).

It is noteworthy that 23 years ago, his predecessor, Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal, had participated in a similar RSS Sanghik held at Vadakkanthara.
