NAGPUR: The Praveen Varg of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti commenced on June 8 at the Reshimbagh campus. Addressing the inaugural session, Pramukh Karyavahika Sita Gayatri Annadanam Ji said that the Rashtra Sevika Samiti is currently observing the 90th year of its establishment and extended a special welcome to all participants attending the Praveen Varg during this significant year. She said that the participants had come to the Praveen Varg to undertake sadhana, cultivate qualities necessary for the organisation, and become worthy of serving society, which is the manifestation of Ishwara.
She said that at this crucial moment of national awakening, everyone must resolve to work in unity for the progress of the nation. Sadhana strengthens the individual from within, she noted, adding that during the Parabhava Samvatsara, efforts should be directed towards leading the nation on the path of victory.On the occasion of the inauguration, Pramukh Sanchalika Shantakka Ji and Varg Adhikari Mukta Thakur Ji (Himachal Prant Karyavahika) were present on the dais. A total of 112 trainees from 27 Prants across Bharat and Nepal are participating in the Praveen Varg, which will continue from June 8 to June 24.
She further referred to the three guiding principles of Buddhism, known as the Buddhist Trikuta:
- Buddham Sharanam Gachchhami,
- Sangham Sharanam Gachchhami,
- Dhammam Sharanam Gachchhami.
She said that the participants had joined the organisation to gain a holistic vision of society. They must acquire both Brahmatej and Kshatratej and work towards awakening society. She emphasised the need to become enlightened and dedicate oneself to the service of the nation. After completing the Praveen Varg, she said, every participant should continue steadfastly on the path of the organisation’s ideal and mission.
