Munger: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, during his four-day visit to Munger, Bihar while addressing swayamsevaks at the Karyakarta Vikas Varg said that the centenary year of the Sangh is not merely an occasion for celebration, but a year to undertake new resolutions and give greater momentum to the task of nation-building.
The Karyakarta Vikas Varg was organised at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Puraniganj. During the bauddhik session, he guided swayamsevaks and karyakartas who had gathered from different states across the country.
In his address, Dr Bhagwat stated that the objective of the Sangh is to build an organised, aware and nation-oriented society dedicated to national interests. He said that the slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” is not merely a chant but a symbol of dedication and duty towards the nation.
He said that since its establishment in 1925, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has regarded character-building as the fundamental basis of nation-building. He explained that the Sangh’s shakha is not limited to physical training alone; it is a medium for cultivating discipline, patriotism, social harmony and a spirit of service. He added that the Sangh has been continuously working in this direction for the past 100 years.
During the visit, he also met the saint Swami Satyaprakash Maharaj at Maharshi Mehi Ashram in Kuppaghat. He interacted with senior swayamsevaks involved in organisational arrangements and shared old memories with them.
