Jaipur: The centenary journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is a continuous journey of organisation, dedication and nation-building, said Dr. Ramesh Agrawal Rajasthan Kshetra Sanghachalak at the samapan samaroh of Karyakarta Vikas Varg–Prathamat Suraj Maidan, Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur.
The chief guest of the function was Sardar Rajan Singh Ji, Pradhan, Gurudwara Sahib, Jawahar Nagar, while the keynote address was delivered by Dr. Ramesh Agrawal Ji, Rajasthan Kshetra Sanghachalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
He said that the Sangh was founded at a time when an atmosphere of despair towards the nation prevailed in society. However, Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar presented a path of nation-building through character development by adopting the methodology of the daily shakha for the reconstruction of national life.
He stated that the Sangh’s daily shakha develops extraordinary qualities among swayamsevaks, including discipline, organisational ability, leadership, service, fraternity and patriotism. The Sangh, which initially faced neglect and opposition, has today emerged as a centre of widespread social acceptance and cooperation, and a large number of youths are eager to associate themselves with the organisation through self-motivation.
Dr. Agrawal further said that over the past 100 years, the Sangh has played a significant role in numerous national campaigns, including service to displaced persons during Partition, the Gau Raksha movement, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, the Ram Setu conservation campaign, and extensive service activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the programme, shiksharthis from various districts and locations of Rajasthan Kshetra gave an impressive demonstration of physical training, collective activities and various skills acquired during the Varg. A total of 277 shiksharthis from 231 locations participated in the Varg. Among them were 97 employees, 57 businessmen, 8 farmers and labourers, and 115 students from colleges and technical institutions.
