Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat called upon swayamsevaks to actively work for environmental protection and promote harmonious coexistence with nature.
Addressing swayamsevaks during the Madhya Kshetra-level Karyakarta Vikas Varg in Shahdol, he said that society must collectively contribute towards preserving nature and ecological balance.
Emphasising the need for environmentally conscious living, Dr Bhagwat said that maintaining a friendly and responsible relationship with nature has become essential in the present times. He urged swayamsevaks to protect and conserve the natural surroundings wherever they live and work, while encouraging cooperation between society and individuals in these efforts.
During his address, he also spoke about modern technology and the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He encouraged swayamsevaks to understand emerging technologies and utilise AI positively and constructively for the benefit of society.
Dr Bhagwat observed that adapting to changing times and technological advancements is necessary, provided such innovations are used with a sense of responsibility and social commitment. He further urged swayamsevaks not to remain confined only to organisational activities, but to stay informed about national and international developments and discharge their responsibilities towards society with awareness and sensitivity.
Notable, 383 swayamsevaks from the four prants of Madhya Kshetra — Malwa, Madhya Bharat, Mahakaushal, and Chhattisgarh are participating in the ongoing training camp.
On the occasion, Dr Bhagwat also held separate discussions with regional and provincial functionaries on various organisational matters.
