A 23-year-old Hindu woman from the Valmiki (Scheduled Caste) community has levelled chilling allegations against jailed gangster and alleged illegal arms trader Mohammed Fahim alias Fahim Langda, accusing him and his family of trapping her through a fake Hindu identity before subjecting her to gangrape, forced conversion, confinement, torture and repeated sexual exploitation for nearly four years.

Delhi Police have arrested four accused in the case, while the prime accused, Mohammed Fahim alias “Sahil”, is already lodged in jail in another criminal case. Police have now moved a production warrant against him in connection with the Jamia Nagar FIR.

The allegations are part of FIR No. 170/2026 registered at Delhi’s Jamia Nagar Police Station on May 14, 2026, against six accused identified as Fahim alias “Sahil”, his father Khurshid, brothers Zaid and Azeem, Tasleem and Maulvi Nafis. The accused have been booked under Sections 366, 376, 506, 342 and 120B of the IPC along with Section 351 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Names of the accused in FIR

Instagram ‘Sahil’ who wore rudraksh and kalawa

According to the FIR, the woman first came into contact with Fahim in November 2021 through Instagram, where he introduced himself as a Hindu youth named “Sahil”.

The victim alleged that Fahim emotionally manipulated her by claiming he was disabled in one leg and found it difficult to make friends. His social media profile carried photographs of him wearing a rudraksh mala and kalawa to project a Hindu identity and gain her trust.

Over time, regular conversations developed between them. Nearly a year later, in March 2022, the woman travelled from Faridabad to Batla House in Delhi’s Okhla area to meet him for the first time.

According to her complaint, she was shocked to find several men present at the flat instead of just “Sahil”.

The victim alleged that another youth, identified as Ali, brought juice for her on Fahim’s instructions. Soon after consuming it, she became dizzy and lost control of her body.

“Sahil, Ali, and the others forcibly had sex with me and took photos and videos of me naked,” the woman alleged in her complaint.

According to the FIR, the accused subsequently blackmailed her using explicit photographs and videos, threatening to upload them on Instagram if she attempted to leave or report the crime.

Fearful and traumatised, the woman alleged that she remained trapped in the relationship as Fahim alternated between threats and emotional manipulation.

Taken to Meerut at gunpoint, discovers ‘Sahil’ is actually Mohammed Fahim

According to the complaint, on May 21, 2022, Fahim again called her to Batla House before taking her to Anand Vihar bus stand with the help of another man identified as Govinda.

During the bus journey to Meerut, the woman alleged that Fahim pointed a pistol at her stomach from under her chest and threatened her.

After reaching Meerut, they were allegedly picked up by another accused identified as Golu alias Tariq and taken to Fahim’s family home in Sathla village of Mawana tehsil.

It was there, according to the FIR, that she discovered “Sahil” was actually Mohammed Fahim and that she had been brought into a Muslim household.

“When I arrived there, I was shocked. I discovered that Sahil was not a Hindu but a Muslim, and his real name was Faheem,” the complaint states.

The victim identified Fahim’s family members in the FIR, naming his father as Khurshid, mother as Tasleem and brothers as Zaid and Azeem.

According to the complaint, shortly after arriving at the house she was served food, after which she again lost consciousness.

The woman alleged that when she regained consciousness, Fahim’s father Khurshid had sexually assaulted her. She further alleged that the family threatened to kill her if she attempted to escape.

“I was subjected to daily beatings, abuse, and threats that I would be killed if I left the house. I was kept locked inside,” the woman stated in the FIR.

The FIR also states that the family was allegedly involved in illegal arms trafficking. The victim claimed that customers frequently visited the house to purchase weapons and that Fahim often threatened her using firearms.

‘Converting a Hindu girl would earn Jannat’

One of the most explosive allegations in the FIR concerns forced religious conversion.

According to the woman, on May 27, 2022, she was forcibly taken to a madrasa in Agwanpur village run by Fahim’s maternal uncle, Hafiz Manzoor.

There, she alleged, she was forced to recite the Kalma and her name was changed to “Aisha”.

The woman alleged that when she resisted, she was beaten, her hair was pulled and she was threatened at gunpoint.

She further alleged that Fahim and his relatives repeatedly claimed that trapping and converting a Hindu woman would help them attain “Jannat” and “Haj ka sawab”.

According to her complaint, Fahim allegedly told her, “Since I cannot go for Haj due to my criminal record, getting a Hindu woman converted through a love trap would earn me Jannat.”

The victim also alleged that Tasleem encouraged other male members of the family to similarly “trap Hindu girls” in order to attain heaven.

“Tasleem would tell Zaid and Azim that you too trap a Hindu girl and you will get heaven,” the complaint states.

After the alleged conversion, the woman claimed she was forced to wear a burqa, offer namaz and consume meat against her wishes.

“If I refused, his mother and sisters would beat and abuse me,” she alleged.

Pregnancy, torture and repeated sexual assault

The complaint further states that the victim became pregnant in July 2022. According to her statement, when she expressed her desire to terminate the pregnancy and return home, she was assaulted again.

The woman alleged that Fahim refused abortion, claiming that children were “Allah’s gift”. She later gave birth to a daughter.

However, according to the FIR, the abuse continued even after childbirth.

The woman alleged that Fahim’s brother Azeem once threatened to throw her infant daughter off the roof unless she submitted to his sexual demands.

She further alleged that Azeem once hung the child upside down from the ceiling until she entered his room, after which he allegedly raped her.

The FIR also contains allegations of physical violence and humiliation.

According to the complaint, Khurshid often brought home ‘blood-soaked meat’ and forced her to clean and cook it. If she refused, she alleged she was beaten and once had a brick thrown at her.

The victim also alleged that she was given old burqas and undergarments belonging to Fahim’s sister to wear.

Traumatised by the abuse, the woman alleged that she once consumed poison in an attempt to end her life. However, she survived after being treated by a local doctor in Mawana.

“To escape this hellish life I consumed poison,” the woman stated in the complaint.

Allegations of prostitution racket and illegal weapons trade

The FIR also contains serious allegations regarding illegal arms trafficking and sexual exploitation.

According to the woman, several men frequently visited the house to purchase weapons including AK-47 rifles, pistols, country-made firearms and grenades.

She alleged that after taking money from these visitors, the family would leave her alone in rooms with them, where she was repeatedly sexually assaulted.

The woman further alleged that a Maulvi identified as Nafis was brought in when she resisted.

According to the complaint, Nafis made her drink “yellow water mixed with sugar”, made her wear an amulet and touched her inappropriately while pretending to perform spiritual treatment.

“Nafees would press my chest under the guise of treatment. Nafees would say, Don’t be shy about having sex with the people I send. Your mother-in-law doesn’t do anything for free; she charges money,”  the complaint alleges.

She said, on the night of her birthday, February 2, 2024, Zaid Bhai beat her and said, “My wife is gone, I can’t live anymore. He then asked me to have sex with him. Tasleem called Maulvi Nafees home. Nafees made me drink yellow water mixed with sugar. He made me wear a cloth amulet around my neck.”

The FIR further alleges that Fahim was deeply involved in illegal arms smuggling and other criminal activities, resulting in frequent police visits to the house.

Escape after Fahim’s arrest

According to the victim, increasing police scrutiny over Fahim’s alleged illegal arms network forced the family to shift to Zakir Nagar in Delhi in November 2025.

The woman further alleged that Fahim was arrested by Delhi Police’s Mehrauli Special Staff on January 10, 2025, in connection with criminal activities. After being released, he was allegedly arrested again by Gurugram Police in another case and his mobile phone was seized.

The victim stated that once his phone was confiscated, she realised he would no longer be able to leak her photos and videos, which gave her an opportunity to escape.

She fled with her daughter and returned to her parents’ house in Faridabad.

However, according to the complaint, Fahim allegedly continued threatening her through calls from Mandoli Jail.

The FIR states that on May 12, 2026, the victim received another threatening call from an unknown number, which she later realised was Fahim.

“He threatened to hand over my daughter to his family or he would shoot me and my entire family,” the complaint states.

The woman further alleged that Fahim boasted that he would soon be released because his uncle had “connections in Dubai”.

Following the complaint, Jamia Nagar Police registered the FIR and initiated investigation into the matter. Four accused have since been arrested, while police have moved a production warrant against Fahim, who remains lodged in jail in another criminal case.

According to the complaint, the survivor approached Delhi Police with the support of activists Bhai Preet Sirohi and organisations including Save India Foundation and Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation after suffering years of abuse, threats and confinement.

In one of her posts, activist and journalist Swati Goel Sharma wrote, “Since 2 pm today, I have been sitting at a police station in Delhi with a young woman to get her FIR filed. A serial criminal and notorious illegal arms supplier who is currently in jail, Mohd Fahim, trapped her because his maulvi mama told him that since he cannot go out of…”

The victim also recorded her statement before a magistrate and is presently under protection.
