Nagpur | RSS Karyakarta Vikas Varg combines physical training with intellectual development: Atul Limaye

Addressing 880 swayamsevaks from across the nation, RSS Sah-Sarkaryavah Atul Limaye emphasised that Sangh's century-long survival—despite facing ridicule, neglect, and three separate bans—is a testament to the "extraordinary conduct of seemingly ordinary" volunteers

NAGPUR: “It is our great fortune to have been born in Bharat, to have become swayamsevak through our association with the Sangh, and to be participating in the Karyakarta Vikas Varg-Dwitiya during the Sangh’s centenary year. Throughout the Sangh’s century-long journey, it has faced ridicule, neglect, and opposition. It was even banned on three separate occasions. This journey was made possible solely through the dedication, struggle, and timely sacrifices of the volunteers. It was the extraordinary conduct of seemingly ordinary swayamsewaks that built the Sangh into what it is today,” said RSS Sah-Sarkaryavah Atul Limaye while addressing the swayamsewaks on the first day of Karyakarta Vikas Varg-Dwitiya at the Maharshi Vyas Sabhagruha, located in the Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Bhavan premises in Reshimbag, Nagpur.

Sah-Sarkaryavah and Varg Palak Adhikari Atul Limaye; Sah-Sarkaryavah Ramdatt Ji; and the Jaipur Prant Sanghchalak as well as Varg Sarvadhikari Mahendra Singh Maggo were present during inauguration. They formally inaugurated the varg by offering floral tributes to Bharat Mata. This year 880 swayamsevak from across the country have participated in the varg. This varg provides training focused on social awareness and social transformation.

Atul Limaye further noted that the Sangh’s process of Vyakti Nirman is decentralized. A crucial component of this Vyakti Nirman process is the Sangh’s daily ‘Shakha’. Similarly, the Sangh Shiksha Varg’s also serves the purpose of character building. The Sangh Shiksha Varg was first initiated in 1927.

Over time, the methodology and format of these vargs have evolved. However, the conviction that Bharat is a Hindu Rashtra; the objective of organizing the entire society to achieve its ultimate glory (Param Vaibhav); and the process of character building as the means to achieve social unity, these three fundamental principles have remained unchanged. Given that this varg is being hosted in Nagpur – the birthplace of the RSS – it holds exceptional significance.

Along with physical readiness, mental preparedness is equally essential; this varg is designed to facilitate precisely that process. We have been granted the privilege of witnessing this phase of the Amrit Kaal. We must make the fullest possible use of this period. The varg offers a unique and distinct experience, combining physical training with intellectual development. It brings together people from various prant to live and learn together. “We are all one” – this realization of oneness is attained in the Varg.

The realization of this oneness that “we are all one” will be attained during this varg. Gautam Buddha once said, “I show the path to liberation (Moksha), but only those who follow that very path and persevere in their journey actually reach the destination.” This varg is designed to prepare swayamsevak’s, equipping them to steadfastly walk upon their chosen path.
This varg will continue for the next 25 days and is scheduled to conclude on June 4.
