The appeals came as the Prime Minister spoke about global instability, disruptions in supply chains, and economic challenges emerging due to ongoing geopolitical developments in West Asia and other regions. Modi stressed that collective public participation and responsible consumption would strengthen the country during times of international uncertainty.
During his tour, Modi launched a sharp attack on the Congress party at the BJP public meeting held at Secunderabad Parade Grounds. He alleged that the Congress had transformed into a “Muslim League Maoist Congress” and accused it of promoting divisive and Maoist ideology. He claimed Congress and Left parties had provided ideological support to Maoists, leading to decades of violence in Telangana.
The Prime Minister also accused Congress of corruption, dynastic politics, and failing to fulfil promises in states where it governs. Modi said Telangana’s people were now seeking political change and looking towards the BJP.
