‘Do you like big one?’: How Danish and gang made obscene comments about this woman at Nashik TCS office

The TCS BPO Jihad case from Nashik is rapidly unfolding into one of the most disturbing workplace investigations in recent times. As multiple FIRs surface, survivor testimonies and police findings point towards a deeply troubling pattern of alleged abuse and organised misconduct

The ongoing investigation into the TCS BPO case in Nashik is taking increasingly serious turns with each passing day. What initially appeared to be an isolated workplace harassment complaint has now expanded into a multi-layered probe involving allegations of sexual misconduct, religious harassment, and even suspected trafficking links.

According to our report at Organiser, one of the latest developments in the case includes allegations of the trafficking of Hindu women to Malaysia by the accused network.

Access to multiple FIRs registered in the case reveals disturbing details that show the severity of the allegations. Among the complainants is a 25-year-old woman, identified as Sapna Gaikwad (name changed, surname retained), whose statement forms a crucial part of the investigation.

In her complaint registered under FIR Number 167/2026, Sapna Gaikwad has accused three individuals, Asif Ansari, Shafi Sheikh, and Tausif Attar of repeated sexual harassment, molestation, and making obscene remarks. Based on her statement, the accused have been booked under Sections 74, 75, 79, 302, and 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

Detailing her role at the company, the complainant stated, “My work is to provide information to the bank’s outstanding credit card loan holders through telelink and my work is done from the department ODC 02.”

She went on to narrate a series of incidents that began during a training session in September 2024. According to her statement, “In September 2024, while our D.R.A. training was going on, Asif Ansari stood in front of me for no reason and stared at my chest and asked me, ‘Do you like your little one or big one?’ I understood the obscene meaning behind his words and left there in shame.”

The complainant further highlighted that her physical appearance was frequently targeted. “Since I am a powerlifter, I am overweight, so Asif Ansari and Tausif Attar always targeted me while I was moving.”

She added that the harassment often took the form of crude and humiliating jokes. “They would give dirty jokes based on the size of my body, including, ‘Look how big it is, will you take it?’ They would give each other jokes like this.”

The allegations extend beyond verbal harassment to physical misconduct.

Recalling an incident from December 2024, she stated, “In December 2024, while I was in the office, Shafi Sheikh sat next to me for no reason and on the pretext of helping me with my work, he deliberately tried to rub my feet with his feet. He also touched my penis and chest with his hands on the pretext of using the keypad near me.”

She added, “As I understood his intention, I immediately moved my chair aside, when Shafi smiled weakly at me and rolled his eyes and left from there.”

Statement of the victim in the FIR

In addition to allegations of sexual harassment, the complaint also includes claims of religious insensitivity and offensive remarks. The complainant stated that in February 2026, Tausif Attar made derogatory comments about Hindu deities.

“In February 2026, when I was in our office, Tausif Attar came close to me and said that he had also read Ramayana and Mahabharata. Krishna was a womaniser because he married 16 thousand wives. Does Lord Shankar not know that Ganesh is the son of Parvati among you? Why was Lord Shankar in such a hurry to go home while Goddess Parvati was taking a bath?,” she said.

She further added, “And since he had beheaded Ganesh, the son of Parvati, Lord Shankar does not know that Ganesh is his son. Then how did Goddess Parvati have a son? By making such offensive remarks and making offensive remarks about the character of Goddess Parvati, he hurt my religious sentiments as well as those of Hindu dharma.”

Summarising her complaint, she stated, “Between September 2024 and February 2026, Asif Ansari and Shafi Sheikh, our employees at TCS Company, Ashoka Marg, Nashik, made obscene comments about my body while I was in the office and also deliberately touched my feet and chest in a way that would cause shame to my mind. Also, Tausif Attar has hurt my religious sentiments by making offensive remarks about Hindu deities. Therefore, I have a legal complaint against Asif Ansari, Shafi Sheikh and Tausif Attar.”

The broader investigation indicates that this is not an isolated case. Maharashtra Police have so far arrested multiple accused individuals, including Danish Sheikh, Tausif Attar, Raza Memon, Shahrukh Qureshi, Asif Ansari, Shafi Sheikh, and Ashwini Chanani. Another accused, Nida Khan, is currently absconding, while the remaining individuals are in police custody.

Given the seriousness and recurring nature of the allegations, authorities have constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter comprehensively. Officials have clarified that the case is being treated as a potentially organised pattern of misconduct rather than a standalone incident. The involvement of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) further shows the gravity of the case.

What began as a single complaint has now snowballed into a larger legal battle, with as many as nine FIRs registered between March 26 and April 3.

Investigators are currently examining whether there are deeper links, including the alleged trafficking angle highlighted in recent reports.

The investigation remains ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days. As the case unfolds, it continues to raise serious questions about workplace safety, accountability, and the possible existence of organised networks operating under the radar.
