In Chennai, a 14-year-old girl was chased and gang-raped near the city, while a Plus Two student was raped and cut into several pieces in Thoothukudi district. Near Coimbatore, over 40 government school students fell ill after taking their meal and are in hospital. These incidents are shocking and are concerning everyone about the worsening law and order in Tamil Nadu, which has fallen into an irrecoverable state.
A gang of two chased girls who were travelling on a bike with their friends near Maduranthagam. The duo intercepted the bike and took the 14-year-old while leaving the elder girl and the boy. They took the 14-year-old girl to an isolated spot where they sexually assaulted her in turns.Police said the duo, who were drinking on the road, saw two girls aged 14 and 17 going on a bike with their 16-year-old boyfriend. They were riding from Tambaram towards Keelakandai. When they approached the Devathoor area, the duo spotted them and chased them on their two-wheeler. The boy sped off with the girls in panic and fell from the bike when he lost control after losing balance. The 14-year-old was injured while falling from the bike and left behind. The men took the girl to a lake near Athivakkam village and sexually assaulted her. Although, the victim managed to reach the Chengalpattu Government General Hospital.
A case was registered at Melmaruvathur All Women Police Station. The prime accused, Kaaka Balaji alias Balaji from Thiruverkaadu/Avadi, was arrested while the hunt is on to nab the other, who is on the run. A post on X says the accused, Balaji and allegedly a political functionary Damodara Perumal, were taken in a DMK flag-fitted car to the police station. On seeing the battery of press corps, police removed the flag to avoid embarrassment.
In the second incident that took place in Vlathikulam in Thoothukudi district, a 12th-standard girl was sexually assaulted and cut into pieces. When the police tried to take the body for autopsy, relatives, friends and locals held a road roko seeking the immediate arrest of the culprits.

Former Telangana governor and senior BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan in a post on X says “The girl (17) went out to attend nature’s call and was abducted and sexually assaulted. The culprits hacked her body into several pieces. Such was the pathetic condition to collect her body pieces. Yesterday a teenager was chased and raped. She, with severe injuries, walked 10 kilometres to the police station to narrate her ordeal. What more such harassments and atrocities must the womanhood undergo in Tamil Nadu? Juveniles still in their teens are becoming prey for the sexual predators. The DMK government is protecting and pampering the culprits…”

BJP Tamil Nadu leader Annamalai also shared the tragic death of a 17-year-old girl studying in Class 12 near Vilathikulam in Tuticorin district.
He slammed the DMK government stating “Tamil Nadu has transformed into a lawless state in the last 5 years. People of Tamil Nadu have to go thru this ordeal for a few more days.”
Expressing my deepest condolences to the family of the girl who lost her life to the brutality and urging the TN Police to nab the culprits at the earliest.
It has been observed that since the DMK came into power, with CM Stalin holding the Home Ministry, crimes against women and minors are growing. Particularly, sexual assaults and murders have become a daily crime bulletin, and the lack of action from CM Stalin reveals the lawlessness in the state.
