LUCKNOW: As part of the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a theatrical presentation titled ‘Sangh Ganga Ke Teen Bhagirath’ was staged at Kala Mandapam on December 30, 2025, highlighting the life, vision, and contributions of the first three Sarsanghchalaks of the RSS.

Organised by Tararani Foundation and Radhika Creation, the play was performed in the presence of former RSS Akhil Bharatiya Bouddhik Pramukh Swant Ranjan, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Written by Shridhar Gadge, directed by Sanjay Pendse, and enriched with music composed by Bhagyashri Phadnis, the play portrayed the inspiring journeys of RSS founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, his successor Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar (Guruji), and the third Sarsanghchalak Madhukar Dattatraya Deoras.

While appreciating the performance, Swant Ranjan said, “The Sangh is not individual-centric. It is a collective movement that inspires people to work together for the nation and society. This spirit is the reason why the RSS has completed 100 years and will continue to move forward.”

The play opened with a compelling depiction of a 10-year-old Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, who boldly declared his resolve to remove the Union Jack and replace it with the Kesariya Dhwaj, symbolising Bharat’s civilisational pride.

Through evocative dialogues, music, and powerful performances, the play underscored the unwavering discipline, sacrifice, and organisational vision of RSS. The audience responded with applause, reflecting the emotional and ideological impact of the presentation.

The event stood as a cultural tribute to the timeless ideals of the Sangh and its role in nation-building.
