RSS Telangana, Gurudwaras to Commemorate 350th Balidaan Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib

RSS Telangana and All Gurudwaras of Telangana will hold a special seminar on December 14 in Secunderabad to mark the 350th Balidaan Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, honouring Sikh martyrs and their message of faith and sacrifice

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Telangana, in association with the All Gurudwaras of Telangana, will organise a special seminar to commemorate the 350th Balidaan Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the ninth Guru of Sikhism, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Secunderabad.

The programme is being held under the leadership of Sardar Gurcharan Singh Bagga Ji, Chairman of the Central Committee of Gurudwara Saheban, Telangana State, Hyderabad.

The event will be held at Grand Lawns, Jal Vihar, Necklace Road, Secunderabad.

The commemorative samagam will also honour the supreme sacrifices of Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji, who laid down their lives to uphold freedom of faith, protect Hindutva and humanity, and safeguard innocent people during the oppressive rule of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb.

The seminar aims to strengthen unity and mutual respect between communities while conveying the timeless message of courage, justice and compassion exemplified by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

Indiresh, Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Sadasya, RSS, from Delhi, is among the distinguished speakers scheduled to address the gathering.

According to the organisers, the event will feature an exhibition on Sikh history, balidaan (sacrifice) and heritage, alongside Kirtan and Katha by renowned Ragi Jathas and scholars. The programme will conclude with Ardas followed by Guru ka Langar.
