Western Railway has augmented four high-demand services, adding 2AC and 3AC coaches from 6 December 2025, mainly benefiting the high-traffic Mumbai–Delhi sector.

Northeast Frontier Railway has expanded capacity on two key services with Sleeper and 3AC coaches over eight trips each from 6–13 December 2025, ensuring continuity of travel in the Northeast.

The Ministry further reported the operation of four special trains to support passengers during this disruption. The Gorakhpur–Anand Vihar Terminal–Gorakhpur Special (05591/05592) will run four trips between 7 and 9 December 2025. The New Delhi–Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan–New Delhi Reserved Vande Bharat Special (02439/02440) will operate on 6 December 2025, providing premium connectivity to the Jammu region.
