Bharat has followed the system of giving something useful to the world for last thousands of years. The disciples travelled all over the world and offered the message of kindness and nonviolence of Gautam Buddha. Bharat taught a lesson of mutual love and patience to the brutal aggressors. Chatrapatee Shivaji Maharaj manifested Bharatiya approach to women at the instance of returning captive daughter in law of Muslim sultan. Swami Vivekananda on the world platform in 1893 did not criticize any religion but displayed the meaning of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam by addressing the audience as brothers and sisters and not by ladies and gentlemen. Swamiji further in his address honored all streams of faith by uttering Bharatiya hymn ‘आकाशात पतितम तोयं यथा गच्छति सागरम. सर्व देव नमस्कारं केशवं प्रतिगच्छति, meaning there are different ways of worship of god but ultimately all worships reach the final Almighty. Lokmanya Tilak showed the way of independence to all communities by slogan ‘Independence is my birth right’. Mahatma Gandhi gave lessons of Satya and Ahinsa, that is truth and non violence. Swatantryveer Sawarkar displayed the basic right of loving motherland by bearing all severe atrocities by the British administration. Thus, Bharatiya society did not flee away from her basic tradition of ‘Giving to the world something sustainable and useful in-spite of one thousand years of bondage by others.

Make a global solution

Bharat is now poised to offer a solution to the tumultuous situation in the world today after 60 years of definition of Ekaatm Mana Darshan by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in 1965, after having worked among all sections of the society for the last hundred years in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, an organization of Bharat, that has sought the solution of sustainable happiness for vyashti(Individual), samashti(Society) and shrushti(Environment) around but when submitted to Parmeshti(God).

The organization, RSS, basically started to unite natives of Bharat but Swayamsevakas, active members of the organization, keenly observed the emergence of various streams of thoughts in the world after Industrial Revolution in Europe. Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat in his address on October 2, 2025 observed the tumultuous situation in the world after witnessing the conflict between socialism, communism, capitalism and secularism for last two hundred years in various parts of the world. Dr Bhagwat appealed Bharatiya to remove the menace by spreading the solution for integrated happiness to all around the world.

Incomplete solutions

‘The world is eagerly awaiting solutions based on Bharatiya philosophy’. Many of our modern thinkers such as Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Gandhiji, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyayaji, Ram Manohar Lohiaji have tried to reflect Bharatiya outlook on the mankind as a whole.

Dr. Bhagwat accepts the usefulness of the modern worldview but observed that it is not entirely misplaced, but it is incomplete. This is why some countries and classes have experienced an improvement in material development. This is why new problems are arising for humanity and nature alongside progress, which are becoming existential crises. Our Sanatan, spiritual, holistic and integral outlook, has the power to ensure material wellbeing of an individual, development of the mind, intellect and spirituality and progress of human communities. For thousands of years, we had evolved a beautiful, prosperous and peaceful lifestyle, which recognizes the importance of interpersonal relations and respects the cooperative coexistence of humans and the nature.

Tumultuous situation

In the economic sphere, the prevailing economic system has specific flaws that are increasingly becoming evident worldwide. Widening gap between rich and poor, concentration of economic power, strengthening of new mechanisms that enable exploitation easier, damage to the environment and rise of transnationalism, inhumanity instead of genuine interpersonal relationships.

The harmful consequences of the materialist and consumerist development model adopted worldwide, based on a materialist and compartmental outlook, are increasingly becoming evident everywhere. Across the globe, scientific progress, the ability of technology to make many aspects of human life more convenient and greater interconnectedness between countries due to communication and global trade present a positive picture. However, there is a considerable difference between the pace of scientific and technological progress and the pace at which humans adapt to these. Due to this, ordinary people may end up facing numerous problems.

We are also witnessing other problems, such as: Ongoing wars and conflicts (both large and small) across the globe, fury of nature due to environmental damage, weakening of social and family bonds, growing misconduct and hostility towards others in everyday life. Efforts have been made to address all these problems, but they have failed to stop them from worsening or provide a comprehensive solution.

Sustainable solution

During his Deendayal Smruti lecture at Jaipur on 15th November 2025 Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat confirmed that solution to the world’s tumultuous situation is in ‘Ekaatm Manav Darshan’. The philosophy gives a well-organized and well-thought-out corpus of universal values of the eternal tradition of Bharatiya thinking. Pandit Deendayal has worked hard to reconcile the all-time cultural and ethical tradition of spirituality, morality and acceptance of varied viewpoints with modern democratic instruments referring to technological developments. He also attempts to offer the fundamentals of dialogue, discussion, debate and discourse in a contemporary form with classical underpinnings.

Panditjee had a deep review on wide spread experiences of lessons of implementation of monarchy, socialism, communism, secularism, democracy in various countries in the world during 100 years prior to Bharat’s Independence in 1947 and 18 years thereafter until 1965(the year of four lectures). He had taken a very comprehensive view on the correlation of the ideologies for policies and ways of implementation of programmes suited to total happiness of the mankind. Dr. Bhagwat solicited on November 15, 2025 at Jaipur that even after 60 years the ideology is relevant to the situation in the world today.

Reach Out

The solution must reach all corners of the world. It will take few years from now. We can start spreading the solution to many foreign universities and libraries by a well organised system during the centenary year of RSS.   Publishing houses, Parents of Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and NRIs together can coordinate and present a book on Ekatm Manav Darshan/Integral Humanism to the foreign university or local library near to the residence or work place as RSS centenary gift.

NRI parents purchase the books and arrange to send to NRIs. The books are also available online on Amazon. In turn NRIs can give the books as gifts to the university or library. Thousands of books on Ekaatm Manav Darshan can reach foreign education institutions and libraries during the RSS centenary year upto October 21, 2026.

Publishing houses, NRI parents, NRIs together can make a beginning of taking a solution consisting the timeless ideas of Sanatan in the modern context in the form of ‘Integral Humanism’ or ‘Ekatma Manav Darshan ’, to most of the universities, in the world as a first phase of communication.
