Asaduddin Owaisi debunks SIR conspiracy stirred by the Mahagathbandhan with evidence

Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul(AIMIM) political party has outrightly rejected the Vote Chori and SIR revision conspiracy myth stirred by the Mahagathbandhan. Owaisi also hailed the transparency and accountability of the Election Commission of India(ECI) by ascertaining specific evidence. The AIMIM party has also won 5 seats in the Bihar assembly elections in the Simanchal region in the constituencies of Bahadurganj, Kochadhaman, Amour, Baisi and Jokihat, thus has ruptured the traditional strongholds of the Congress party and its Mahagathbandhan. This indeed is one of the historic and remarkable outcomes of the Bihar elections.

Meanwhile, while addressing the media, Asaduddin Owaisi has debunked the myth and conspiracies circulated by the Mahagathbandhan regarding the Special Intensive Revision(SIR) of the electoral rolls anchored by the Election Commission of India. The aim of the SIR is to ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral list and his franchise doesn’t get thwarted or misused. Also, all the fraudulent voters must be removed from the list thus accomplishing transparency in the electoral system.

However, the opposition parties including the Congress and their allies in the Mahagathbandhan have repeatedly alleged the SIR as a conspiracy wielded by the NDA and the ruling parties to manipulate the electoral list in their favour. Ahead of the assembly elections, revision of the electoral list targets selective voter groups who are against the ruling coalition and seeks to remove such voters from the list, thus strengthening the voter base in favour of the ruling coalition, the opposition had alleged. They also claimed that the Election Commission has become a tool of the ruling party.

Post the Bihar election results, Asaduddin Owaisi has completely destroyed this fake allegation on the ruling party and has hailed the transparency and fairness of the Election Commission of India(ECI). While speaking to the media, Owaisi has asserted that the AIMIM party had flagged the issue of 900 missing voters from the electoral list with the Election Commission. The ECI registered the complaint, made necessary corrections and immediately restored the names that were missing from the list, Owaisi further added. Blaming the SIR and ECI is wrong as the mandate is given by the people of Bihar, Owaisi reiterated. He also resolved to work for the welfare of the Simanchal region.

Thus, Owaisi exposed the fake allegations and lies constructed by the Congress party and its Mahagathbandhan and dusted off the accusations on the BJP, NDA and the Election Commission. This validation by Owaisi not just hails the fairness of the ECI, but also restores the faith and upholds the spirit of the Indian democratic system. Unlike the Congress and its allies claims India’s democracy and constitution is not under threat, instead it is functioning with utmost vibrancy, the recent Bihar elections result and the large-scale voter-turn out is a testament to this fact.
