NEW DELHI: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has forgiven its critics and opponents many times, but it has never forgiven the enemies and adversaries of the nation, said Prof Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University at the inaugural session of the two-day Samagra Sangh Sahitya Paricharcha organised by Indraprastha Sahitya Bharati at PGDAV College on the occasion of the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

He said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is not merely a group of individuals; it is an idea. When one connects with an idea, the feeling of despair never arises. The Sangh works with the goal of nation-building through character-building.

Dr. Balwant Jani, Chief Guest of the event and former Vice-Chancellor of Central University, Sagar, said that in the present times, with discussions on the National Education Policy and the Indian knowledge tradition gaining momentum, Sangh literature is receiving greater recognition.

As a Special Guest, Suruchi Prakashan President, Rajiv Tuli said that the Sangh has been shaped by such people who neither stopped, nor broke, nor bowed, nor sold themselves. He added that Suruchi Prakashan has been performing the significant task of publishing national literature.

Presenting the introduction to the program, Indraprastha Sahitya Bharati President Dr Avanijesh Awasthi said that in order to ensure that authentic information about the Sangh reaches the people, we have organised the Samagra Sangh Sahitya Paricharcha.

The inaugural session was conducted by Indraprastha Sahitya Bharati General Secretary Sanjeev Sinha. The vote of thanks was delivered by Program Convenor Prof. Mamta Walia.

On this occasion, Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad’s sangatahn mantri, Prof. Neelam Rathi, Indraprastha Sahitya Bharati’s Vice President Manoj Sharma, Prof Mamta Walia, General Secretary Sanjeev Sinha, Minister Neelam Bhagi, Rakesh Kumar, Jagdish Singh, Acharya Anmol, Sunil Dutta, noted writer Devanshu Jha, Dr Shruti Mishra, along with many other academicians and researchers, were present.

Following the inaugural session, in the first session, litterateurs, professors, and researchers presented summaries of books authored by Sangh thinkers on diverse topics including Nation, Bharatbodh (National Consciousness), Dharma and Culture, Hindutva, Sangh and the Freedom Movement, Sangh and Social Harmony, Environment, Family System, Women’s Power, and Education. This session was conducted by Program Co-Convenor Dr Malkhan Singh.
