RSS at 100 events are being organised across Kerala, drawing the participation of prominent celebrities and professionals from diverse fields. Many of them have graced the Vijayadashami utsav as chief guests, addressing the swayamsevaks and attendees with reflections on their personal association with the RSS and its activities. Their presence is being seen as an acknowledgement of the Sangh’s century-long role in nation-building, social service, and cultural revival, adding weight and significance to the centenary celebrations in the state.

Former Director General of Police R. Sreelekha IPS (Retd) stated that RSS is a movement which is committed to protect Bharatmata, to keep the people under the country’s protection and to defeat the anti-national forces. BJP state vice president was addressing an RSS at 100 Vijayadashami function, on October 2, in Thiruvananthapuram. Therefore, our countrymen should rally behind RSS for the defence of our motherland. The very inception of RSS was for the service of the country. Patriotism is the quality which brings all under this umbrella. Sreelekha told that RSS teach the countrymen the lessons to protect Bharatmata and to sacrifice even one’s own life for the sake of the Motherland.

Sreelekha said, when youths are mentally and physically empowered, we can effectively face the anti-national forces. It will help us to defeat the attacks against us and our country. Thus, we can raise the country to the pinnacle of her glory. RSS has been extending the necessary training for this during the last 100 years.

Olympian P.T. Usha, MP (RS) and president of the Indian Olympics Association said that NO to casteism and discrimination are the powers of RSS. She respects RSS as the latter teach the lesson that we all are Bharatiyas. She said, she agrees to RSS principles that all those who are born in Bharat are Hindus and we have to take pride in that culture and we can discover its identity. That is the stand of RSS and she believes in it.

Usha was addressing an RSS at 100 programme on October 1. She added that RSS teaches to live above caste-religious-political differences. RSS is the only organisation which takes this stand. That is the strength of Sangh. Their path is of service and dedication.

Dr. M. Abdul Salam, BJP Kerala vice president and former Calicut University Vice Chancellor said, on October 1, that the service to the nation, environment and the people is the DNA of RSS. RSS is a unique and unparallelled organisation in the whole world. RSS activity is service-oriented. RSS respect people of all castes, religions and faiths.

Dr. Salam stated that RSS develop the character, leadership and physical efficiency of the individuals. RSS support educational and rural developmental activities. RSS encourage national commitment and it upholds the Gandhian values like self-reliance, cow protection, etc.

Dr. Thomas, clad in RSS ganavesh, (uniform) was addressing an RSS at 100 programme. He said, Bharat remains Bharat as important values of life have been passed on to generations after generations. That is why the ancient nation still remains.

Dr. Jacob Thomas had addressed another RSS at 100 programme near Kochi on October 1. He was clad in RSS ganavesh for that programme also.
