Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, continuing the rich spiritual traditions of the Nath sect, performed special rituals and prayers at the Gorakhnath Mandir on the occasion of Mahanisha. Sharing his sentiments on X, the CM wrote:

The rituals began with Mahanisha pooja and havan, conducted with full adherence to Vedic traditions. This was followed by the Aarti, which was performed amidst the chanting of sacred mantras, symbolizing the continuity of the Nath Panth’s ancient spiritual practices.

सर्वमङ्गलमङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते॥

नाथ संप्रदाय की प्राचीन परंपरा के अनुरूप आज @GorakhnathMndr में विधि-विधान से महानिशा पूजन एवं हवन के उपरांत आरती की।

Expressing his devotion, Yogi Adityanath prayed to Maa Bhagwati, revered as the embodiment of Shakti, to bless all with “wealth, perfection, and prosperity.” He further sought divine guidance for “the welfare of the people, the protection of dharma, and the advancement of the nation.”

Concluding his message with “Jai Mata Di,” the Chief Minister’s prayer resonated with both spiritual reverence and his vision of aligning tradition with the collective progress of society
