PM Modi: GST reforms boon to MSMEs, urges citizens to embrace ‘Swadeshi’ to realize the goal of Viksit Bharat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the nation on the next generation GST reforms, also spoke about revolutionizing the MSME ecosystem of India. He exclaimed that MSMEs form the predominant pillar in realizing the goal of Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat and the GST reforms indeed aid in the growth of the MSMEs. He also urged the countrymen to embrace the mantra of ‘Swadeshi’, to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat and gave the slogan of ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation as the next-generation GST reforms are set to kick-in from September 22. Meanwhile, he also spoke about revolutionizing the MSME ecosystem of India at a global scale. With easier and swift rules, regulations and procedures coupled with the next generation GST reforms, Indian MSMEs will be able to manufacture world’s best quality products, PM Modi asserted.

He further asserted that reforming and upscaling the MSME sector is an integral part of achieving the goal of Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat. He reiterated the vision of crafting India as the world’s best quality manufacturing hub and micro, small and medium industries of the country form a mammoth slice in realizing that vision.

PM Modi also called the citizens to embrace the goal of ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi’, i.e. every household should purchase and use the ‘Made in India’ goods and be a champion in getting rid of the foreign goods and commodities. He also affirmed about the importance of tracing the roots or origin of the products that every Indian uses so that it helps to adopt the path of ‘swadeshi’ and purchase Made in India goods. He also called the people to embrace ‘Swadeshi’ goods with pride, as they are the symbol of our history, culture, civilization and growth story. He gave a call to the countrymen to work for the realization of this goal of Swadeshi and Atmanirbharta.

He further asserted that ‘Swadeshi’ mantra was the strength and backbone of India during the freedom struggle and independence movement. Similarly, in the 21st century as well, ‘Swadeshi’ should be the motto for the prosperity and development of the country. The products we use should be an outcome of the efforts and creativity the Indian men and women.

PM Modi further hailed that MSMEs are an important pillar in the growth story and economic development of India. MSMEs help India to climb the ladder and reach the peak of development and economic prosperity. Thus he urged the citizens to buy Swadeshi goods with pride and also urged them to echo the message of Swadeshi with pride and prestige. “When Swadeshi happens, India will become Viksit”, PM Modi added.

PM Modi also gave a call to all the states in the country to work in the path of Atmanirbhar Bharat and join hands in realizing the goal of ‘Swadeshi’. He urged to propel the prospects of manufacturing sector in every state with pride and velour. “The dream of Atmanirbhar Bharat can be realized only when states and the central government march together. When every state is Viksit, Bharat will be Viksit”, PM further affirmed.
