“In the world, people fear that if Bharat grows, their place will be diminished, so they impose tariffs,” said Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh, Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat while addressing the 7th foundation day of Brahma Kumaris Retreat Center – Vishwa Samiti Sarovar in Nagpur on September 12, 2025.
Dr Mohan Bhagwat urged for compassion and understanding of one’s true self, suggesting that overcoming fear would lead to a world without enemies. He asserted that nations could overcome fear through brotherhood and peace.
“We did not do anything; they are appeasing the one who did it all, because if it is with them, then they can put a little pressure on Bharat,” Dr Bhagwat said.
“If there is no enmity within us, then no one is our enemy. Earlier, we used to fear snakes. Then, when we gained knowledge, we realised that not all snakes are poisonous. So we started leaving the snakes alone. Due to knowledge, fear and discrimination were destroyed,” Dr Bhagwat further said.
“All of this happens in the play of ‘Me and Mine’. When they understand that ‘Me and Mine’ is actually ‘We and Ours’, all issues end,” Dr Mohan Bhagwat said.
“The world today is looking for solutions, as it has been unable to find a way forward due to its incomplete vision. It is impossible for them to find the way because of their ‘only me’ approach,” Dr Bhagwat remarked.
Dr Bhagwat highlighted Bharat’s potential to address global challenges and guide the world towards a better future. “Bharat is capable of finding solutions to the world’s problems and showing the way forward.”
He also praised the spirit of the Bharatiya people, noting their resilience and contentment even in difficult times.
“There should be no scarcity, but if it exists, it will change when the time comes. Yet, even in hardship and sorrow, people here remain satisfied because of this spirit of belongingness,” he said.
