Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has said that the democracy and constitution of glorious India is strong. India’s prestige in the world is constantly increasing. We all should unite and feel proud of the culture of the Indian nation. India has been rich in terms of education and science since ancient times. He said that it is necessary for the ruling party and the opposition to unite in the interest of the nation. If the country exists, we exist, and if the country does not exist, we will also cease to exist.

Fourth Youth Parliament in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly

Devnani was addressing the Youth Parliament organised in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Saturday under the aegis of the Rajasthan branch of the Rashtra Mandal Parliamentary Association. Devnani and the union’s secretary, Sandeep Sharma, inaugurated the fourth Youth Parliament in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly by lighting the lamp. On the initiative of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Vasudev Devnani, 168 youths from thirteen states in the Legislative Assembly discussed international issues related to the security of the country and communicated with facts. The youths showed unity on national issues by sitting in the ruling and opposition parties.

Devnani explained the culture of democracy to the youths

Devnani explained the culture of democracy to the students selected for the Youth Parliament from different parts of the country. As soon as Devnani entered the House, he first turned towards the opposition and greeted them and then greeted the members of the ruling party. Devnani said that this is the House where the values of democracy are expressed. Public sentiments are transformed into policies, and it is from here that the public representatives are responsible for their duties. He said that in this House, the democratic consciousness, thoughtfulness and leadership ability of the public representative are tested. Devnani said that the culture of democracy is to present your views on the basis of logic and facts, to listen to others patiently and to maintain a balance on the basis of agreement and disagreement. Youth Parliament inspires the youth to become not just critics but also partners, so that they can become carriers of social change.

Platform to establish dialogue and understand different viewpoints

Assembly Speaker Devnani said that the House is a platform for the public representative to present their views, establish dialogue and understand mutual viewpoints with discipline, sensitivity, discretion and ideological diversity. This platform of the House gives the public representative an opportunity to understand himself in accordance with public interest. He said that governance is not just a flow of orders, but it is a continuous process of thoughts, value determination and public interest.

Devnani gave a message to the future generation that national interest is paramount, and opposition should be presented with decency

Devnani said that India’s sovereignty and national integrity are paramount for us. This reflects our national pride and constitutional commitments. He said that opposition in the House has to be presented with decency. One has to maintain dignity even in differences. He said that public sentiment should come to the House. We have to understand human emotions. We have to present ideals while maintaining the dignity of dialogue.

Read Ramcharitmanas and learn the role of father, son, brother, wife

Devnani said that our country has been rich in education and science since ancient times. Vedas were written on the banks of the Sindhu. Mohenjodaro taught us to wear clothes and build cities. He said that today in the age of social media, youth post hearsay without investigating, this is not right. Youth will have to develop the habit of going deeper. Shri Devnani said that youth should read Ramcharitmanas and learn the role of father, son, brother, wife from it. In the Mahabharata, Sanjaya narrated what he saw sitting miles away, in Ramcharitmanas, our country has been ahead in many things from a scientific point of view, including the Pushpak Vimana, attaching a trunk to Ganesh ji. He said that in a democracy, it is necessary to follow the limits of expression for the national interest.

Youth Parliament is the education of living values

Secretary of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Sandeep Sharma, said that Youth Parliament is not just a practice of speaking, opposing or supporting, but it is the education of living values of democracy. He said that the youth should understand the parliamentary decorum. Become aware, thoughtful and responsible. Do not limit participation in democracy to just casting votes, but actively fulfil your responsibilities towards the nation.
