Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that we did not get independence readymade, it is the result of the sacrifice and struggle of countless heroes. He said that youths like Hemu Kalani embraced hanging instead of kneeling before the British. No martyr belongs to any one society, he belongs to the entire nation.

Hemu Kalani statue was unveiled while inaugurating Hemu Kalani Chowk located in Sindhi Bazaar in Nohar town of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Addressing the public meeting organized on this occasion, he said that the Sindhi community left everything at the time of partition of the country and established itself in every corner of the country and lived a respectable life. He told that while being the education minister, he included the lesson of Hemu Kalani in the education curriculum of Rajasthan for class 9th and 11th, which is being studied by 20 lakh students today. He said that this country does not consider the invaders great, but considers great men like Maharana Pratap great.

On this, the common people present raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai. During this, he also participated in the programs organized at Bharat Mata Ashram and Shri Amar Lal Saheb Temple in Nohar. Earlier, the Assembly Speaker was greeted by hundreds of workers at the house of BJP SC Morcha State President Kailash Meghwal in Rawatsar.

Devnani said that conspiracies are going on to weaken India, but this is India after 2014, which is ready to give a befitting reply to every challenge. Referring to the Pahalgam attack, he said that brave soldiers entered 100 kilometers inside Pakistan and destroyed the hideouts of terrorists.

Devnani said that every youth should take a pledge that if I study, I will study for the country and if I live, I will live for the country. He informed about renaming Ajmer’s Foy Sagar to Varun Sagar and renaming Edward Museum to Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Museum. The Assembly Speaker said that as long as there are ‘Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, Maratha’ in the national anthem, Sindh will remain ours. Akhand Bharat will be formed under the leadership of Modi. India was Vishwaguru, is Vishwaguru and will remain Vishwaguru.

In the assembly, former MLA Abhishek Matoria also praised the work of Devnani and called him a strong leader who runs the assembly according to the rules. On this occasion, BJP District President Pramod Delu, BJP SC Morcha State President Kailash Meghwal, former MLA Abhishek Matoria, former Madrasa Board Chairman Mehrunnisha Tak, Municipality Chairman Khatoon Tak, Nohar Pooja Sindhi Panchayat President Gopi Chand, Seva Ram Motwani, Om Bablani, Durga Seva Samiti President Jitendra Bachwani, Rajendra Sihag and a large number of citizens from all communities were present.
