Bhimavaram: Vishva Hindu Parishad today called for Hindu Unity, Stopping Jihad and dismantling terrorist structure in Pakistan and its persistent acts of terror.
VHP ‘s Int’l President and senior advocate Alok Kumar also said that we would intensify our campaigns for Ghar Wapsi, liberation of Temples from Govt controls and stop religious conversions apart from increasing service projects for the needy.
While addressing a press Conference held in ASR Sanskritika Kendram in Bhimavaram, West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh he raised the following points:
Stop Jihad and punish Pakistan
The Pahalgam attack is a Jihadi terrorist act. The perpetrators checked the religion of visitors and killed only Hindus amongst them. The support, training and motivation for such ghastly acts comes from Pakistan. We are satisfied that the Government has resolved to respond in adequate measure.
We are surprised that some countries are advising Bharat to not escalate the tensions or for only a proportionate response. The Jihadis have attacked the honour of our country by killing Hindus. They have also hit upon the economy and welfare of the Kashmiri people. There is no question of a limited response.
VHP stands with the Government of Bharat:
There should be let up, no concessions and the response should be so adequate that Pakistan is not able to repeat its terror activities in Bharat ever again.
The challenge of Jihad is also an ideological question. The belief in some sections of Muslims that justifies violence, abduction, rape and murder as a religious act is to be resisted and defeated. The VHP shall continue its efforts to unite the Hindus for the security and progress of the people of India.
Intensify campaign for Liberation of Temples
The Hindus of Andhra Pradesh had held a massive rally in Vijayawada to demand that the Govt. return the Hindu Temples to the Hindu Society. It is not for the Govt. to run religious places. The VHP shall intensify its movement for the return of Temples. In this year, we shall take it to all Districts and organise rallies of the academic and elite society to generate support and participation for the return of Temples.
Expand Service projects
My tour of Andhra Pradesh began with a visit to our Trustee Shri Sateesh Puttagonta. He is a philanthropist and distributed calipers and wheelchairs to needy persons in my presence. The VHP shall expand and continue its service projects particularly for the Schedule Castes and other needy persons.
VHP to Intensify Ghar Wapsi Campaign
The VHP shall also intensify its campaign for Ghar Wapsi and to stop conversion to other religions. We hope that in the coming years the Hindus who had converted due to fear, deception or greed will be able to come back to their original religion in big numbers.
